Tirant 45 blew apart
I was at the range shooting a 45 ACP AR 15 and I noticed a big fireball coming out the end of my 45 Tirant with fixed piston. Never seen that before. The range safety guy calls a cease fire and I look at the end of my silencer and its not there. Nothings there. Just the tube. So we go down to look f...

The 2017 tax bill will cost me personally around $10,000 this year. Real numbers. Not a fan.

More people voting just gives you bigger numbers that don't change much. Apathy is a sign people are content with the way things are.

I suppose you could slip a tube over the outside and weld it on. Rocksett maybe. Otherwise there doesnt look like any way to keep the tube on.

Re: 45 Colt Lever Action Silenced
I am thinking of doing this on either a .45LC or .45-70 lever-action. Did the front sight have to be moved or the magazine shortened so the barrel could be threaded? mbogo The Rossi tube had to be shortened a bit. I had the smith do it and paid extra for that although there is no reason to do that ...

Re: Remove rifle from sbr status
As a seller you are not required to have proof it was not in SBR status at the time of sale and the only time a 4473 is going to come into play is if it goes through a dealer which in most states will not be required. An SBR registered receiver is just a receiver unless its built into an SBR and a l...

Re: Remove rifle from sbr status
You machinegun example doesn't quite fly. If the receiver is registered, than it's the 3rd hole that makes it the MG, not the trigger. Simply removing the trigger wouldn't remove it from MG status, but, I believe, welding over the 3rd hole or filling in the shelf could. Nope. First off no one cares...

Re: 9MM AR MASTER THREAD
Ive had a few 9mm AR's over the years. Never liked any of them. Colts and RR's and they all had the same problem. They had more recoil than I wanted from a 9mm and they were loud. The ejection port bark was unreasonable and spraying powder and a lot of the times they just wouldnt cycle worth a damn....

Not how DIAS's work. Just the gun theyre in. I only brought that up because that what Gabby Gifford, or whoever she pays to think for her now, proposed. Make bumpstocks and binary triggers under the NFA as machine guns. Not sure how you'd do that with a multi part binary trigger ( its really just th...
