Tough s--t. Elected politicians makes the policies in this country with the consent of the governed. This country is not run by scientists. They can give advice but thats it. If they don't like it they can exercise their right to vote for a more scientist friendly politician.

If you use a flat faced 4 flute end mill to drill the holes you will have a nice clean cut with little if no burring inside the barrel

The side mount PSOP scope will work with one of the Romanian take off scope rails if you spot weld it high enough on the side of the receiver to clear the underfolder. Other than that theres several different top cover mounts out there although they don't retain zero well. Some will use the rear tan...

I live on the path that Sherman took on the way to Savannah, where all the food was stolen by troops and the following freed slaves. The people of this area had to follow the soldiers, and pick undigested corn form horse dropping, dry them in the sun, and boil them to make food for babys. I'm sure ...

I must plead ignorance on this one... Can someone explain 40+ charges? Is this 40 counts of a crime or a designation of a crime? :?: Each individual count of poaching, spotlighting, hunting without a license etc. will be prosecuted as an individual crime. Theyre not even getting into the firearms a...

What an asshole. They should rub "doe in heat" scent on him and throw him out in the woods during the rut. Not the first time silencers have been in the news lately in Oregon either. There was a bunch of shitheads in the Portland area who were baiting and shooting peregrine falcons because...

Not everyone has a CLEO that will sign. Mine won't . Not for anyone. He's even said he wouldn't sign for his own brother and that if the voters don't like it they can elect someone else. Thats fine. He doesn't have to. Not hurting my feelings.

The right to keep slaves was at the time an embedded part of the constitution of the United states. It wasnt an amendment added later on as an afterthought. It was considered important enough to the founders to be in the body of the document. As far as the seizure of federal property goes once the p...

McCain is no Republican. He might even get in and try to make himself look like a good old fashioned law and order conservative and ban some more guns like old man Bush and Reagan did.

I have a friend with an M11/9 with a newer Bowers can on it . Not THE quietest thing in the world but it was certainly hearing safe. He bought the M11 when it was $700 and the can was $325. For a cheap , cleanable can its a good deal.

Whats a good finish to use on Stainless steel?

Is KG guncoat sufficient? I generally parkerize before using it but obviously I cant do that to stainless. Is there something I can use at home since once my rifle can is together I can't really send it out for a finish coat.
