Got mine done in dallas, but should not take anything special to do. 1/2x28 for sure, as 5/8x24 would limit you to certain cans only.
I have a load on 4.2gr of Titegroup and a 190 cast that shoots great.

Here's my clone, currently wears an Octane HD. I have settled on 190 cast over 4.2gr of Titegroup. Shoots well under 2" at 100 yards. I may work up a full power 180 XTP load as well. As previously stated "its awesome". http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc110/glocker17/suppressor/E2B6...

I have settled on 4.2gr of TiteGroup under a 190 Hunters Supply cast in 357 cases. Around 1020fps in 10" barrel, accurate , and quiet.

223 Gold Dot on hogs.
Took a couple of hogs Friday using Gold Dot 64gr SP ammo. Both were pass thru shots, one shot med section was on the run, but went down quick. Very happy with the performance. http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc110/glocker17/suppressor/DE589368-20F5-411F-A950-6D5A8389D5F5_zps96lqsjhk.jpg http://i2...

I don't think muzzle pressure will be double but certainly higher, probably be fine on a Specte/Sparrow or similar. If the Specter can handle 22 hornet/5.7FN this 17 should be no big deal. I have used Hornet in my el cheapo C3 defense can with no problems as well.

Re: NFA Trust & tax Stamp readily available??
DOD guns usually get an exemption and are not part of the registry. As Govt. owned guns, they are tax-free and do not get stamps. This. I have seen short barrels 14" shipped to the office for installation on govt owned 870's that were previously used with what appeared to be the original 18&qu...

Negative, this is a 2010 case that west to the First District. Original case was 2004. Is was was based on the ATF's position as of 2004. The possession of the air gun suppressor itself is not enough, read the courts decision. That is why we have seen the proliferation of companies making air rifle ...

This case, which was discussed here before, had the portion related to the air gun silencer overturned. Gave air gun mfg a little extra room. http://docs.justia.com/cases/federal/appellate-courts/ca1/07-1964/07-1964p-01a-2011-02-25.pdf?1301255779 "We conclude, however, that the statute by its t...

Re: Is the sellout starting to form?
Ok, you get a transaction ID number. What does that number represent? Is it just a random number that isn't tied to anything, or is it tied to the record of the transaction in the registry? If it's just a number, people could just make them up. Even if there's some cryptic formula, how long would i...

Exactly, what rate of compliance do they think would be attained. If you think the registry has issues with accuracy now, add 3 million Ar-15's too it in a rush.

Well after 14 Form 4's with The XXXXXX NFA Trust, number 15 was kicked back requesting The be removed. Even though the body of the trusts lists The XXXXX NFA Trust as a permissable name in which to acquire assets. Re: How to buy from someone that might die soon?
Yep it happens quite a lot, called estate planning. ATF doesnt actually have authority over the evasion code section anyway, just IRS. I dont think a tax stamp evasion ($200) would even meet USAO prosecution guidelines. Although we sure dont want to find out. Most folks wont want to risk it over $20...

Having him WILL it to you would easily be seen as tax evasion, especially if you have no part of his life prior to this interest in buying his can. No it doesn't actually violate any statutory requirement as evasion 26 USC 7201 , creepy yes, illegal no. Its actually a form of estate planning. The c...

I guess, I am shooting it side by side with a competitors can and the ISIS is a bit louder than I would like. What host are you using?Maybe you were expecting too much, or are using the wrong ammo? My Isis-1 is quieter than my Multimount is.
