My own factory threaded example came internally threaded, which is extremely useful.

After shortening it to 1/4" total length, don't make it hollow. Make it solid, then cut a scoop all around. Instant half baffle.

Those endcaps are way too long. At most, 3/16 of threaded engagement surface suffices. That's almost a whole inch you can lose from the can, or increase your baffle count. Also, I would suggest modifying the front endcap to have a cone shape or at least a scoop. It will dramatically boost performance.

I didn't spot this while following the thread but perhaps missed it, so my apologies if that's the case. My thought is that you ought to take advantage of the external tube's volume in such a way that FRP becomes irrelevant, by cutting a path for expansion into the last stage of the K baffle stack....
