Re: Choosing a 22lr pistol for suppressor
+1 for the Ruger SR22, never had it fail to eat anything I've fed it with the exception of it being super dirty after over 1000 rounds and no cleaning. Even then it was rare to have a problem, the only thing that started happening was the dirtiness of the 22 lining the chamber to the point the slide...

Re: AR-15 Subsonic Loads
Post some info on what guns you are going to be shooting with, this will help us to guide you a little more. For example there are very few options out there as far as 223 goes in subs that will cycle an AR. Even with handloading 223 subs you need a heavy bullet and then because of that a tighter tw...

Re: SBR 15-22 + Sparrow SS = sweet!
That is awesome, I'd love to see a video! Congrats!
I'm looking at getting a 22lr upper in the 4" length for my eventual SBR but current AR pistol. Should be awesome!

Re: 2015 SilencerCo Product Sneak peek
After you mentioned that I googled and found the leaked documents and I have mixed feelings. The stat sheet mentioned an ASR mount which is what the Specwar uses isn't it? I wasn't sure about that though I would think they would use the Saker mount as it seems to be very reliable and well accepted. ...

Sounds like you know something we don't. I'm guessing, in that case, a Ti can?

2015 SilencerCo Product Sneak peek
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGkdo5eYtjE Check out the product teaser video they released. I see a harvester end cap for the saker. Toward the beginning there was what looks like a short but fat can with the same engravings as the saker near the base. Maybe it is a Saker 762K. Anyone else see an...

Re: Ohio Governor Signs Suppessor Hunting Bill
I've been patiently waiting for this to happen! Very excited. I will say from my understanding, you could possess the 31+ round magazines they just couldn't be inserted into a firearm so now, your right, there is no official or technical magazine limit in Ohio. Can't wait to get out, find a marlin 1...

Re: Ohio Hunting Bill Passes Senate
This is awesome news! I'm personally, very excited because I want to get a Marlin 1894C, thread it and hunt deer with 357 magums!
But I thought the bill had to go to the house for approval of the changes THEN onto the Govenor, is this right or is it already onto Kasich?

Re: Hi All
I would consider the MicroMOA gas block system. It's a gas block with a regular plate that you can use the tip of a bullet to push and change positions from open/ closed or any size you choose to drill it to. I'm looking at getting one for my 300 blk upper sometime this year.

I'd be interested as well to see a link. I know it needed to get through the senate then to the governor. I Doubt it did all that this fast but I'm hopeful it will happen soon.

Re: Apply now or wait for e-file to restart?
My own dealer has had several Form 4s for suppressors come in in 4 months approved. I was facing the same dilema as you but I figured by the time the eForm system is actually up again the forms could very well of been approved or spending the same amount of time being approved. So, I filed for a Sak...

Re: TAC65 on Ruger 10/22T
I only shoot CCI standard velocity through my suppressed rifles. They sound great, are reliable and were reasonably price compared to other quality subs. I used to buy them at $30 for 500, recently I found some at $35 for 500. They are expensive as far as 22lrs go but for subsonic they are great, My...

Re: No FRP 22 rimfire cans?
I use that type of mister from walmart and it works just fine. One other thing you could do, if you have the ammo, when shooting regular bulk ammo through a handgun make sure the first round in the magazine is a standard velocity round such as CCI standard and it is about the same if not a little qu...

Re: Can they make 22 rimfire ammo powder any cleaner?
The New American Eagle suppressor ammo is pretty clean stuff. I've had a brick of it (22lr) that I've used sparingly and it works in all my semi-autos and is very quiet. Now I haven't exclusively shot it for comparison to other brands but I have seen a post on a forum somewhere a little while ago wh...

Re: No FRP 22 rimfire cans?
The Spectre 2 and warlock have no FRP to them. I have a sparrow and it does but it doesn't bother me at all. I have heard the Spectre and warlock demoed to me, definitely no FRP to them. This was all in reference to use on a pistol as there is FRP on any of them on a rifle.

Re: Threaded handgun barrels
My M&P 9 has a Stormlake and it's just as accurate as the factory and has never missed a beat. I had called S&W a few months ago to inquire about the availability of factory threaded barrels and they said they were dedicating all their factory resources to standard items rather than speciali...

Re: NEED ADVICE ON BARREL1022 SELECTION FOR SUPRESSER
I have the 10/22 that was factory threaded and I use it with my Sparrow with no problems once the spacer was installed as the factory threads are .6" long. The standard for 22lr threading is .4" long and 1/2 x 28 threading. The Sparrow and Spectre threads are slightly different because the...

Re: Finally obtained both of my cans, Octane question
Alright, I have a new questions for you guys. I ran my octane bafffles in my ultrasonic cleaner just like they showed in the videos using the Hornady one shot sonic solution for gun parts. After about 45 minutes I took the baffles out and there was still a good bit of buildup on the top of the baffl...

Re: Octane 45 and .22 LR
I have shot my Octane 9 with several varieties of 22lr and it gets noticeably dirty but after around 2-300 rounds there isn't any real thick buildup just a coating of fouling and lead. I did notice that the piston took a bit of force to pull out after shooting 22lr, putting it in for some 9mm then r...

Re: Finally obtained both of my cans, Octane question
You've got another great idea!. I found an old cutting board and cut out a tool just like you made except for the end that fits in the endcap of the can. I thinned it to fit into the grooves, instead of cutting a notch out in the middle. It isn't as strong as HDPE but it will definitely get the job ...

Re: Finally obtained both of my cans, Octane question
Well, you've got talent my friend! I may take a look at Dollar tree or walmart for the cutting board but I found a couple plastic distributors in my area that may be willing to sell me some scrap. The easy can off tool you described is basically what I originally made from wood but a little more for...

Re: Finally obtained both of my cans, Octane question
Well Emelio I've got to hand it to you. That is awesome!, EXACTLY what we need for the octane! Mine is made of wood and much uglier but man that is a great idea! I'd also buy one if you made them but I might go ahead and see if I can make one of those for myself. When you said scrap, was it scrap yo...
