No clips is a huge negative. I can reload using moonclips faster than using mags in an auto.

It is designed for 8 1911 mags (designed for NRA AP which has 8 strings of fire on each of the 4 Bianchi Cup events). It holds 8 (or more, maybe 12) rimfire mags just fine.
