Re: "Happy" 13th everyone
I've actually considered that. However, I'm certain all the particulars of 41F aren't yet known. Seriously, If an Executive order can change the law, I'm sure 41F is just the start. Why not just make it up as you go along? Make a new trust with only you on it, file, wait for approval, and then add ...

Re: 5 months door to door
Well I guess it can't get worse? The way I see it, we should see wait times decrease at this point. The big push to get them all in on time is over and many people are not purchasing anything else because of the fingerprint requirement. Possibly short sighted but that is a whole other debate. With ...

Re: "Happy" 13th everyone
I was trying to e-file a form 1 on the 11th (9pm) when the ATF site went down. On the 12th, I downloaded a hard copy form 1, filled it out by hand and ran to the post office. Just in time too ... ATF site posted an error message later that we could file hard copy, but only postmarks on the 12th wou...

The effective date never changed once the rule was published.ohnomrbillk wrote:Happy 13th
Except the ATF quietly changed the deadline to the 12th.
It cost me 2 Suppressors being on my trust in time. My siblings are the only people on my trust, but we live in 4 different states, so the logistics are a nightmare.

Re: Is there a guide to how to submit a form 1 after July 13th yet?
Going to add another question to this post. Is it true that 41p only affects Trusts? From everything I'm reading with 41P you will need to add the following with your NFA submission: 1. Photo 2. Finger print cards 3. Questioner of responsibility And I also heard "back ground check" but I'...

Re: Quick question in todays strange NFA world
The NFA Branch started quick scans of eForms filings to spot obvious errors and reject them so they could be resubmitted before the rule change.

No, it cannot be edited. It should be fine. I have approved forms where I didn't put my title.

I wouldn't run any direct thread can for a couple of hundred rounds without checking. If you don't want to pay the price for the TROS, get a Ballistics Advantage barrel and a screw on 3 lug adapter.

No, they have no special permission. If a Form 4 passes a Form 3, it's disapproved just like for anyone else. It's happened.

Alabama is gtg with NFA items other than a cane firearm. The form you need to file for the SBRs is 5320.20.

Re: So who's filing for new Form 1 or Form 4 before Obama kills off NFA on trusts?
Regarding the new rule I do have one question. I know that part of the rule is that if you've had something transferred or approved within X amount of time (I think it was 6 months, but not sure, someone chime in for me here) instead of the prints and picture you just have to have a statement that ...
