Finally approved about 10 days ago :D Hopefully the stamp will be in before the end of the week so I can take it for a test drive this weekend. From what I read in this thread, it sounds like I am in for a real treat! :P Congrats!!! I'm very very happy for you man!!! I'll never forget the day that ...

Re: Customer Service
JohnInNH, thanks or that info. It makes sense that the Essence would be slightly quieter due to fact that it's longer, plus the "Ti= a deeper better tone" thing is something I've heard before too. I've been told that it's the length, the tapered bore, and the design of the core that decrea...

Re: Customer Service
John, which can sounds better between your Essence and your SS Sparrow? I'd really like to get the chance to shoot the two side by side, because the SS Sparrow must be a really good can by what everyone says about it. Is the SS Sparrow easier to take apart than the Essence? I'm constantly hearing ab...

Re: Customer Service
I just got my Kodiak TL from Libertycan.net about a month ago, and I love it. It's very quiet, it's built like a tank, the core is a work of art, and the can is made of only three parts the tube, the core and the end cap. Liberty's customer service is tit's, I talked to Rob and he was very knowledge...

Re: Kodiak TL review
No insert just yet, I'm having trouble just thinking about letting her leave home! Lol, but really I'm thinking about doing an upgrade to an Essence(basically). Liberty would cut my tube like the new Essence and put an Essence core in it. Since it's already so dang quiet I'm trying to decide if I wa...

Re: Kodiak TL review
I finally had a chance to "show off" my new KTL to my shooting buddies a few days ago and everyone was very impressed, includng a sheriff's deputy who "came out to investigate a noise complaint"(I'll write about that experience in a different thread, but it went well). I brought ...

Re: Colt Rail gun 1911 .22lr
I checked one out a gun store the other day, and the barrel was threaded. It looked to be similar to a P22 barrel(I've never seen a GSG 1911 so I couldn't compare)in that you would need a thread adapter to use a can. The ppl at the store were unable to tell me if the P22 adapter would work on it or ...

Kodiak TL review****Pics Added****
Kodiak review First Impressions- The can looks a lot better to me in person than it did online. I say that because, when I first saw the KTL online I wasn't big a fan of the way it looked. However, after seeing it in person I have to say it looks very nice. The flat black and the stainless steel lo...

Re: Outback IID vs Liberty Kodiak TL
I haven't shot, heard or handled any of the Outbacks, however I have shot an Alpine and I now own a Kodiak TL. I shot the alpine at my dealer's place while trying to decide what .22 can to get. The Alpine caught me off guard with how loud it was, so I turned to my dealer and said "do you mind i...

WOW, you got to be phucking kidding me. Do you really believe that NFAtracker is an exact science?[/quote] Yes I really did believe that NFAtracker was an exact science! There is no possible way that I was proving a point(that point being that you can't expect to get similar results). Jackass...

+1, but I wish Ruger made a 10/22 with a threaded bull barrel, or at least sold them. What's the cheapest 10/22 threaded bull barrel cost nowadays?continuity wrote: The threaded 10 22 is looking pretty attractive.

Re: ATF approval times as of late
I just got my form 1 in today. (can, to trust) Took just under 5 months 4-16-11 to 9-6-11 (door to door) Wow! Is it true that a trust is usually quicker by 1-3 weeks than the indivdual route? Also don't form 1's usually get approved faster than form 4's? If so then it might actually take 5 months f...

That's a good way to describe it. I've never heard it explained like that before.
