the big thing i seem to be screwing up on is the thread depth (doing a 28tpi) and then the OD of the threaded part of the end cap and getting them to mate up not to tight and not too loose. im going pretty slow and only turning off .005 a pass.

Actually the blast chamber spacer is part of the endcap. It was just a long machined and hollowed out piece.
