I have a Gemtech SOS 45...I will sell it for $150.

That says it all. I'm glad I ordered an Evo-45.

I think we'd all love to have one of those, but I shudder to think of the price.

I unscrewed one of the 1895 barrels with leather gloves on my hands. They're easy to do, RH twist. :)

If the bare registered receiver would NOT still be a SBR, how is it you are able to buy a bare registered AR-15 SBR receiver? The upper doesn't come into play as far as the law is concerned, it's still an NFA item.

Really slow NFA transfers?

I've now had a form 3 pending from one dealer to another since early February. No word yet.

In addition, I wrote a check/mailed a form 1 off on the 19th of February. No word, hasn't been cashed.

Is the BATFE just crawling along these days, or what? :?

I was wrong, it has a 9.5" barrel. What would the expected problems be? Shorter silencer life by thousands of rounds, or what?

Think those are from your batch?

Also, has anyone found where to get the plastic windshields and zinc bodies? M60 Joe hasn't responded.

Wow, this was supposed to be a nice little thread to make sure people knew about the lower prices Maj Malfunction offered, not a pissing contest.

Right after getting divorced, I transferred everything of value I own into two trusts - one for "regular" stuff, and one for all my firearms/NFA items.

The only downside is if you somehow slip through with a bad trust and the BATFE finds out later your NFA items are now contraband.

Lucid is a USA legal Absinthe, about $60/bottle. I got one of the first batches to be imported. It compares well with the old (pre-ban) Pernod recipe.

It has about what the old recipes had - 10ppm thujone content.

Does the 10/22 receiver drop in the top, the trigger group in the bottom? Could I use a registered SBR receiver in this?

Go through Maj Malfunction!

For the love of your bank account, when buying silencers buy through Major Malfunction. I just paid almost $1000 over his prices for four silencers, which would've only cost me $300 to transfer in (dealer fee), saving me $700. I should have checked his prices first, obviously. Just a heads u...

He said that the items were already ones he had on order from AAC as "in stock" items. I sure hope it doesn't take a long time.

EDIT: It seems the silencers will be here in another week or two, as he filed the form 3s perhaps a week ago, and the silencers are already reserved for me.
