If the bare registered receiver would NOT still be a SBR, how is it you are able to buy a bare registered AR-15 SBR receiver? The upper doesn't come into play as far as the law is concerned, it's still an NFA item.
Right after getting divorced, I transferred everything of value I own into two trusts - one for "regular" stuff, and one for all my firearms/NFA items.
The only downside is if you somehow slip through with a bad trust and the BATFE finds out later your NFA items are now contraband.

He said that the items were already ones he had on order from AAC as "in stock" items. I sure hope it doesn't take a long time.
EDIT: It seems the silencers will be here in another week or two, as he filed the form 3s perhaps a week ago, and the silencers are already reserved for me.
