Re: 308 aero preision SBR
I agree with CoW that getting hands on is always a good idea. You're going to drop a lot of coin, and wait time for the stamp, for this rifle. With that said, I don't see how it wouldn't be a good rifle. While I've never handled an SBR AR10, I have fired many, many AK47, HK91, FAL, etc, etc, type s...

Re: 308 aero preision SBR
Have you shot one before? I've shot two, and neither made me wish I had one. One was at a carbine class and the guy was usualy slower and some things like weird positions and weak side shooting was giving him real trouble. I know you got an AR-15 SBR, so if your having fun, who cares, but if you ha...

308 aero preision SBR
Looking at doing a build of a 7.62 X 51 AR-10 SBR. I am using every position lower and upper to start the process. I was wondering if anyone has experience here with this caliber in this configuration. I also plan to run this suppressed on a specwar 7.62. Just one to get past some things on the perf...

Re: 41p rule announced
So in following all of these and my dead line of a 180 days. I can purchase a lower then file it as a sbr form 1 and buy the upper later on if funds and time does not permit. I already have a trust and 3 items on it. Just wanted to make sure that I'm interpreting this right. :? looking for that stag...

There s no known cure for NFA addiction... That's the truth brother.....8 cans....3 sbr's....1 sbs ! And if I get a SIG MPX, that'll be another $200. Sounds similar to me, 6 cans 4 SBR's, 1 AOW and that damn MPX will get you every time. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r170/Bluewidow_bu...

Re: Need some help on a stuck suppressor
I appreciate the help from both of you are RJT and old fat guy. It seems like this is only place where I can get competent information that sounds coherent. I guess I have to take it to my Smith and get the job done there as well. Also I was wondering has anyone else done a suppressed Mosin on this...

Need some help on a stuck suppressor
I've enjoyed my specwar 7.62 for the longs time now, but I've have seem to run into a problem. I have mounts on my 556,308, and my mosin. The mosin had a specwar comp on it and everything was going well. Sounds like a 22 :) made a lot of people at the range jaw drop. As I was taking it off the mount...

I still have the m&pC9 threaded barrel from them and there is no problems with it at all. just got to get a piston for it, can't borrow all the time  . :D Now that will be quiet with some wire gel and 147gr rounds. the bee's knees. Its one out of two and I'm ok with that. plus the mo...

Re: Storm lake threaded barrel concerns
Send it back, I have a TON of threaded barrels and zero issues. Defect for sure. Thank you for your information. I'm getting in contact with them and its kind of sad that I have to send it back. It was a blast to shoot it with the octane 45. Now I have to wait for a while to get it back from storm ...

Re: Advice for Suppressing AR-10 and 15 with one suppressor?
Specwar 7.62 The best choice I ever made. It is a bit on the heavy side but, it does what you need to get done. Also it built like a tank, so you don't feel bad getting it "lightly bang up". I run it on my stag-arms 1L and my savage model 10 lefty. It great for my 5.56 and the 308 is very ...

Re: Storm lake threaded barrel concerns
Ugareloader might have a point, I have a pre Remington SL threaded 1911 barrel ( using Octane 45) and it is perfect and very acurate! Also have a standard SL 1911 barrel that shoots nice groups . Maybe they are on a rushed ensembly line now and QC suffers. Send it back for a new one. I'll t...

The past Thursday I went to the gun range to have a conjugal visit with my octane 45 and FM let's move the threads were perfect my 30 barrel from Storm Lake was brand new. I p...

Re: Form 1 45 ACP can with booster
Been a little while but I finally got to shoot a better video of this can on my 1911. In person the sound of the round impacting the plate rack was louder than the gun itself. I tried to make a few more videos but the battery in the GoPro died. https://youtu.be/qownVowo0YM The performance of your c...

Re: FORM 3 wait times
You make a great point on that with the big three. Its the prefect storm and the people at the NFA are not happy with the new wave that is coming in. They got the it down by like 70k from last year and now their back up again. I have a feeling its like "office space" with the TPS reports....
