I've had Pair.com for my websites for years. They are an ala carte hosting place in Pittsburgh that has been around for years. They have connections to the internet backbone through 2 different avenues so that if one went down the other is up. My sites have never gone down on me in the last 7 years....

Zak Smith recently wrote a great article for 6mmBR website, which compared 3 different 6.5 mm rounds--the .260 Remington, 6.5x47 Lapua, and 6.5 Creedmoor. http://demigodllc.com/articles/6.5-shootout-260-6.5x47-6.5-creedmoor/ He found that the 260 Remington and 6.5 Creedmoor were functionally equival...

brutaldiver, I've had the .460 Rowland barrel for about 5-6 years and use it in a Kimber Custom II. I like it a lot. You can shoot the 45 Super in it too, although I have found that the normal 460 Rowland 24 lb spring is too stiff when using 45 Super to cycle it. It's best to use a 22 or 20 lb sprin...

I have about 10 boxes of 20, of XM118LR PD sniper ammo, and it is 2002/3 production. This would be the #2 stuff from Lake City in the 20-round boxes. It uses the Sierra Matchking 175gr bullet. It's decent, but my precision handloads are better and more accurate. The #2 stuff in the 20 round boxes is...

Well, since you like your Bushnell, you could look at the new Bushnell Elite 6500 model in 2.5-16 by 42mm. Or a similar one in the 4200. The 6500 is a couple of hundred more than the 4200. Check SWFA. http://www.swfa.com/c-2172-bushnell-elite-6500-rifle-scopes.aspx Or...you could look at the new Fal...

I wanted to add that DPMS in 2008 is making the LR308 available on all the 308 based calibers. Quite a choice now, but the 260 Remington is a powerful choice for long range precision to 1500 yards with handloads and high BC bullets. Same gun for all except a different barrel. 243 - 308 brass necked ...

Why bother with a custom can? The .243 uses the same brass as the .308, so why not use a AAC Cyclone (Threaded) or AAC 762SD (quick detachable) made for the 30 caliber? This way it will work with a 243 or 308 or a 6.8 or 6.5 or other rifles in between. You'll find plenty of people on this website wh...

I have an S-Corp in Florida and operate as a foreign corp in Colorado. No NFA in it. There is no problem, you just have to register the foreign corp. in your new state. However, if it is a corp. not doing business, I am not sure that it needs to be registered in the new state at all. The registratio...

The 17 HMR is a necked down 22 WMR for a 17gr spire point bullet in a rimfire case, and it goes 2550-2600 fps. 245 ft.lbs. The 17 HM2 is a necked down 22 LR for a 17 gr spire point bullet in a rimfire case, and it goes 2100-2200 fps. 174 ft.lbs. Both the 17 HMR and 17 HM2 use the Hornady VMax bullet...

Jeff, your second quote from page 6 explains it as I did previously, but uses different words. Grantor Type Trusts...A trust is a Grantor Trust if the grantor retains certain powers or ownership benefits...In general, a grantor trust is ignored for tax purposes and all of the income, deductions, etc...

The type of trust we use for firearms is a Revocable Living Trust and not an Irrevocable Trust. Since the grantor of a Revocable trust can put in and remove assets from the trust, it is taxed if necessary as if the trust didn't exist (on your personal income tax form 1040). If you had an Irrevocable...
