Re: 41F published today; effective date: 13 July 2016

Got an interesting e-mail from he ATF regarding eforms. The most interesting part was this. Auto approval – Some forms, like the ATF Forms 2 and 3, if they meet certain pre-determined criteria will be automatically approved by the FEAM system upon submission. That would be nice if form 3's were app...

I have a Sandstorm for my 700 SPS bolt gun and love it. Worth the price of admission especially since I bought it back during a tax free deal.

I recently picked up a Liberty Freedom for my M1A. Another excellent can.

Re: Is the Sparrow still the best?

we did a side by side test of various suppressors at a range a while back. sparrow had _significant_ FRP and louder than all other cans overall. the best was aac element 2. zero FRP and very quiet overall. Well no s--t, just go back to basics. The sparrow is a monocore which by design usually give ...

Don't worry, when the ATF says they are illegal they can go to Amazon and collect the customer list.

Re: Huntertown Customer Service Is Horrible

So I have a Huntertown guardian 22. I bought it originally because, first off it was cheap, Welcome. Not to be a smartass here, but cheap prices are the biggest reason for disappointments/regrets when obtaining a can. I'm sure someone will chime in with some Huntertown experiences. Too many whine a...

With the large variety of osprey/octane pistons available, does the 18mm fit all of the pistons or is there any other sizes?

You must be new in the world of suppressors. These issues are not new and have been ongoing years before Remington took them over.

I am sure that heat would cause and issue with the spring in the three lug thingy.

Since my last post, I got to try out a Gemtech Sandstorm in 308. It's not as quiet as my Yankee Hill 308 Phantom, and is twice the price. Maybe I'm not understanding it right, but do people really buy suppressors to NOT make their guns quieter? That's not what we found around here. We kept all vari...

There are so many gun dealers that are total idiots and due to the complexities of the process they should not be dealing in NFA.

Ask around for a better dealer for your next NFA purchase and hopefully that one will go smoother.

The G9 is a monocore design and by nature they are always louder than K baffle cans.

I own a number of Gemtech cans and personally I would have passed on the G9; you should have bought the multi mount instead.
