The new SR22s are availble with threaded bbl, much like the P22 with the protector on the end. Saw one today, the cat # is SR22PBT.

Most likely it will hold up, except maybe the threads, I don't think performance will be optimal however.

Re: Has anyone machined a Ruger Mk2 frame to use Mk3 mags?
How about just buying a MKIII grip frame and installing it under a MKII upper and maybe then replacing the magazine safety with a bushing?

Re: See full dimensions for 22 K baffle
Pfiffikus25, Good start, the baffles look a little thick walled. this will eat up some volume, I'm no sure about tube Id but here tubes are .870" or .875" ID, that will tale some volume also. The orings in front are mostly to keep the front cap from unscrewing. All the sealing should be ac...

Re: Form 1 .45 K-baffle question.
Like Lava Red said, he's gotten down to 1/32" in AL so in stainless you could thorethically get a little thinner, the tradeoff will come when you chuck it and it goes out of round, of not saying you are not careful but my first couple of attempts with thin 17-4 went flying because I was afraid ...

Why the spacer? It will increase the blast chamber and likely increase FRP.

Re: shotgun barrel and OAL length question.
Woa that would end up with a three inch blast chamber. Usually that translates to FRP, but with this arrangement I have no reference as most pistol powders should be all burned up. Does anyone have any info to contribute here?

Re: The next project: a DeLisle Carbine in 9MM
On the feeding issue someone mentioned that if you use the standard .45ACP adapter you would then use 1911 9MM magazines to resolve the feed problem. I'm not sure how accurate this statement is. Does anyone have an answer for this?

A really cheap design
http://www.trident-enterprises.com/el%20cheapo.png I had a few thoughts in the box so to speak and came up with something really inexpensive to make. I was wondering if this had been done before? The tube would be 1" aluminum and the "Baffles" just some bent stainless sheet stock. Th...
