Re: OMG! They’re Using Targets! Human Shaped Targets! OMG!

The Missouri DOC disallows human shapes at the state ranges as well.

We all know that using human shaped targets is the gateway to shooting humans, right?

Re: Form 4 approved but suppressor not at dealer....

So I bought a tirant 6 months ago, dealer didn't have it in stock but had it coming to his shop and he had the serial number for it. So we went ahead and file the form 4... Although it happends, they aren't supposed to start the form 4 before they have it in hand. But surely not before the form 3 f...

Re: Ever wonder how often some of these goobs are calling NF

The worst is some of the local dealers get the every week visit asking "Did it come in yet?" I had a dealer not even call me when one of my forms came in. I called the BATFE and found out it was approved something like 3 weeks before, then called the dealer and the answer was that they re...

Re: Basis for Hollywood silencer sound

There was ONE James Bond movie, Sean Connery, where he is at the randge shooting at a moving target.

That is the only time I think they got the sound pretty close.

I also SCAN the original so I can always print copies.

Re: Claim of Modern Need For Guns in Homes Simply is Not Sup

Using the bible to justify eliminatin personal firearm ownership is a new one on me. The part about how if the bible does not enumerate the right then it doesn't exist is kinda the opposite of current thinking that if something is not expressly forbidden, then it is OK. That writer should never be a...

Re: Jailbreak My GemTech MultiMount

That sucks bunches.

Right now, mine sits on a 9mm AR pistol. It is OK, but indoors it is darned near not hearing safe (propably due to the blowback design). The Beretta was much quieter.

Older integrally suppressed Ruger 77/44 (no pics, sorry)

Was at the local pusher today. He handed me a Ruger 77/44 with integral silencer. I think he said it was SDS or SRT or something like that. It was fairly old - had the hexagonal muzzle/bore for disassembly, abd the end cap was flat and not concave like the SRT. Had a wooden stock. 'twas a bit muzzle...

Re: Model 1 Sales requirement??

Interesting.

When I bought my LAR-9 AR pistol from my local gun store, the only receipt was a cash register receipt.

Just listed the item type (ammo, firearm, etc) and the price.

No pistol, rifle, etc.......

Other than a photo, I have nothing to prove it is a pistol.
