I am no expert, but I am trying to do something similar. Some folks have been kind enough to help me along. See the specs at the end of my post here: http://www.silencertalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=114626 My can will be used for supersonic 300BLK and 5.56 and it was suggested to have end ...

Thread Adapters vs. Endcaps? What thread type Form1 build?
Hello All, I want to use my Form1 Can on 9mm, .357 Mag, 300Blk and possibly other calibers, heck even 22lr. Since 9mm cans are usually 1/2x28 threaded and .30 Cal cans are 5/8x24 what do Form1 folks do for adapters? The can will be built with enough strength and blast chamber to handle supersonic pr...

Would the extra .05" cause erosion on the threads of your end cap?

Re: Kyle's 7.62mm, titanium/stainless, clipped cone baffle c
Kyle, Looking good. Thanks for sharing the progress. Fascinating. On your cap, what thread pitch are you using for the barrel mount? 5/8"-24? Are you screwing right into the barrel, or using mount? If it is threading right on the barrel, how deep is the threaded portion on your cap? In other wo...

Re: Supressor for 300 blackout shooting subs
Put N/A in the length on the form 1. I'd make a design similar to the 762sdn6, that can was designed for the blackout if I remember right. 60 degree cones with clipped ends, stainless steel, 1.5" diameter tube, approx 8" OAL, spaced 0.8" apart with an 1.5" blast chamber would be...

Re: Dimensions...tac16...(Pic heavy)
Maybe He is implying that he could use the design and make a new form one can with a larger bore? That is the way I interpreted. Perhaps, that is how he meant it....OP? My experience says he is looking to open the bore(like he said) to achieve a larger caliber without a Form1 for each baffle. I hav...

If I opened the bullet hole diameter up to say .410, could I use it for full house .357 magnums on a lever gun? Would it still work decent on a .223?

Anyone who actually built this over the last two years? How did it turn out?
If it turned out well, can anyone post the PDF/DWG or CAD files?

Dude....your suppressor owns! I was sitting there trying to figure out why the 9mm sounded a little louder than the AR. Duh, you were doing FA on the 9mm and I suppose we were hearing ejection port noise... Is there a spacer ring that is installed in your suppressor that spaces the endcap from the f...

You are near Albany? I am just up the road from you in Newberg! Small world! I am limited to 9.5 inches on the length...that is what I put on my Form1. Bummer. So, the end of the muzzle to the snout of the first K is 1.25", is that for your 9mm or for your 5.56??? You have an adapter, is that i...

Critique my 9mm K-baffle design, please
Hi, I am working on a 9mm can using K-baffles. I am attaching a PDF drawing and jpeg of my current design. The main issue I have is whether I am doing the mouse holes correctly. I am looking to use a 3/8" ball end mill to come down from the top .682", but not sure how far from the center I...

Re: 9mm can is done
Wow, were you shooting .223/5.56 in that? Sounds real quiet.
What did you end up for a blast chamber length?
What is your overall length and length of the individual K-baffles?
What is your bore diameter? I am looking at .410" or .420" for mine.

Ok, I have it right at .400" now for the muzzle to the first K-baffle. The can will mostly see .22lr but it will see some .22magnum and .17HMR. Just trying to make it last longer when it sees the heavier stuff. Thanks. You are going to want at least 300" from the end of the muzzle to the f...

I am looking to make a beefy Form1 9mm can to hang on the end of my .357/.38 levergun. (Also on a future 9mm AR...someday). Well, I am running at 300" for my X dimension. Note that the muzzle cap has some relief in there too, creating a gas expansion chamber. This dimension is what I plan on going with. Wish me luck! Like I said, it will mostly see .22lr, but will see service with .22mag and .17 family. Hope the FR...
