Re: best factory .22 rifle to suppress?
Savage Mk 2 FV-SR I absolutely love mine and can't wait for the Liberty can that's inbound for it. Everyone who shoots it just giggles. On the sled when we sighted it in, you could cover the 50 yards groups (5 shots) with a dime. http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k366/ffgabe/Toys/2012100...

I will keep a look out for one then. Saw one threaded in a pic on Liberty's website and it looks great.

Re: S&W M&P 22 pistol?
I don't see a lot of feedback on the M&P 22 hand gun. Does anyone have any experience to relate in using one with a suppressor. It interest me because I own (2) M&P 45 pistols set up the same way with the thumb safety and all. It won't be my only .22 pistol ever but just looking for somewhe...

Re: Picture for form 4?
Ok, I have not bought any NFA items since early last year. I did NOT submit photographs for my previous Form 1 and Form4. Sunday I went by my dealers place because my Osprey(s) came in, and he's cool and fills the forms out all typed up and stuff so no big deal, then he says, they have been kicking...

Re: Opinion on .22 Can?
Well I figured cry once and be done, so I ordered a Liberty Essence. Now the wait for the transfer to my FFL, then the wait with BATFE. My Savage bolt action .22 will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of this can.

Re: Advice on Rimfire rifle host?
Got it out to the range yesterday to sight it in, was pressed for time only 100 rounds total through it but it's a tack driver and the trigger is ridiculous, lol. 50 yard 5 shot groups can be covered with a dime. Going out again tonight for a little bit wife wants to shoot it. Went with the Mueller ...

They are not the best organized. No offense taken at all man. My usual guy is 2 hours away now since we moved last year, the guy I'm trying out is 20 minutes away. There's no one else close by lol.

Re: Opinion on .22 Can?
Still up in the air, lol. Doesn't help any that my local C3 guy has not heard back from either Silencerco or Liberty for pricing after emails and voicemails, and Liberty has not returned my emails either. Guess everyone is swamped with suppressor orders....... I don't know about Liberty, bu...

Re: Advice on Rimfire rifle host?
Got the rifle in today, and the DIP kit and Boyd's tacticool stock were already here, swapped everything over, but going to need some work. The metal around the magwell doesn't inlay evenly front to back, and the phillips head screw for that area doesn't grab well, they didn't include one I had to u...

Re: Advice on Rimfire rifle host?
Thanks after some digging I got the Tacticool from Boyd's and the bottom metal, screws, and trigger guard from DIP. So now just need to decide on scope base, and rings, I'm pretty set on the Mueller APT stock I previously mentioned. Just not sure what size base and rings I need. The rifle comes wit...

Re: Advice on Rimfire rifle host?
Not sure I understand the question. But, the Tacticool is made of wood and because of this it needs a metal trigger guard and flat magplate. Those are the 2 main parts of the bottom metal kits. In addition the kit will come with the necessary bolts and screws to attach them to the Tacticool. From t...

Re: Advice on Rimfire rifle host?
Well found an online retailer that said the FVSr was in stock and couldn't beat the price. $216.99 with free shipping so I placed my order. My debate now is whether to get a Boyd's Tacticool stock, or the Rhinelands Leopard stock for it. I'm really liking the Rhinelands setup and it's just a tad bi...

Re: Advice on Rimfire rifle host?
Just looked up the Rhinelands stock. Looks interesting, but not my taste. Not a fan of thumbhole stocks. But, to each his own. Sounds like it also needs some fitting done by the end-user. I think I'm gonna end up with the tacticool and just painting it. Does it require the bottom metal for the plas...

Re: Opinion on .22 Can?
If you go Liberty, remember The TL SS core can go in a sonic cleaner but not Ti essence core. Can't go wrong with the Spectre II and it no harder to clean than the Sparrow in a sonic and no shields. Was not aware of that, lol. Damn, everytime I think I have it figured out someone else throws a monk...

Re: Opinion on .22 Can?
Thanks for the feedback black-sheep. I am waiting for pricing on the Sparrow VS Essence from my local guy and will go from there. I am leaning towards the Essence at this point. The blowback is important to me because my kids will learn to shoot on my .22's in the future and I want the experience to...
