Re: Who to convert an AR to and SBR?
What state? If you have an SOT7/2 Form1 it, they will likely take inventory of the gun, and you will be without it for 3-4-5 mos awaiting their Form1 return, then you will have to wait 4-5 mos for your Form 4 to re-transfer it back to you. What are your various reasons? ^^^ WOW!?!?! That is all I c...

Re: Who to convert an AR to and SBR?
The primary reason is that I'm a class 3 dealer and don't want to pay the $200 for an individual transfer. Since the posting, I discovered a gunsmith in Texas to do the work. RCS Guns, Craig Simpson. so you're gonna title 1 transfer it to him, let him form 1 it, then form 3 it back to you so you ca...

My family farm has no address.
I've literally put "2mi east of post office 7xxxx on hwy 9"
You Only need to put your one address.

I would like to know how many people own Suppressors only because they were forced to get a Trust because their CLEO refused to sign off.

If it were a Form 1, then it is mailed to the applicant.

Re: Moving, but paper form 4 is in the process
So, I'm about to move in-state, but my Form 4 application is still probably 5 months out. USPS mail forwarding doesn't extend this long, so when my stamp finally does arrive, it will probably go to the new owner of my current house. What should I do? Btw, you can re-submit uSPS forwarding every 2 m...

Re: Ti-Rant 9S on 300 Blackout Subsonic?
As Jason stated, the piston between the 9 and 45 tirants are not interchangeable, and we do not make a 5/8-24 piston for either can. Also, you would indeed need a fixed barrel spacer. The pressure is the main issue here, and if the bullets are going supersonic, that means the pressure has increased...

Re: Ti-Rant 9S on 300 Blackout Subsonic?
We do not recommend it, however it will be fine as long as A: it is subs only, make sure they are not going supersonic as stated above, B: the piston is threaded directly to the barrel. Thread adapters void the warranty. How is part B possible given that AAC doesn't make a 5/8x24 piston? you really...

Re: Ti-Rant 9S on 300 Blackout Subsonic?
When I checked with AAC on a Tirant-45 they said it was good to go with Subsonic 300 Blackout. However be very careful if you run factory Sub loads thru one. I bought a box of Hornady 208 Amax subsonic a few weeks ago and ran three thru the chronograph, they ran at about 1090 fps which is subsonic ...

Re: Carrying around the tax stamp
on a federal level, you are not required to keep a copy on you. You dont have to even own a copy or the original period. you can burn it as soon as you get it and still be legal. It is possible that state or local laws may require it. I have never heard of a place that did though. I used to carry a...

Re: Wrong Length on a Form 1
Hello, I submitted a eForm 1 for an AR-15 SBR back in early February and it was approved in late June. I miscalculated the overall length and put 31.5" for the length of the SBR with the 10.5" barrel on the F1. Once I got it all put together, I measured it at 28" with the stock exten...

Let me point out, that penetrating oil can take up to 2 weeks...so be patient. my YHM Mite was froze shut...I put KROIL in it and every few days, tried as I might, couldn't unscrew it...then, magically, it moved perhaps 1/2 degree rotation. back forth I went (twist left, twist right), and in 2 min i...

Re: Oil filter adapters?
So, let's say Mr. Small Autorepair Garageman owns a shop (think service station), personally. Has a wall (say, 134) of oil filters. He form1s one of these oil filter adapters in his name and using the shop address (so his wife didn't find out!) and puts an arbitrary, but convenient oil filter on it ...
