Is there an age limit for joining the Border Patrol ?

My Form 4 suppressor purchase went pending 11/21/2007 after mailing in forms 10/23. My examiner is W. Shipman and I hear he is extremely slow. Any truth to that ? How long should I expect to wait from "pending"
