Re: Optimal Twist SSS Barrel
Hi, I did the research for these barrels. This twist does stabilize the SSS under _all_ conditions. I'll shoot a target with a 5x5 array of shots and post a big pix here, and have it put on CapitalistArms.com to show that there is _no_ tipping of the bullets. If you buy a barrel and you find that i...

I dont know that I would ever have with choreboys in it but if I did hell yes I would. As for oil filter or fuel filter units yes I would. The chances of getting caught red handed are so remote and soon hopefully if it gets though our state senate it will be illgal to enforce federal gun laws buy a...

Re: Anybody suppress an Olympic 45acp
I'm sure that would help but without a delayed locking action, blow back systems are just louder. :) A super heavy buffer helps alot more than you think as I have both blow back and DI 45's and they both sound the same suppressed. If you compare other guns like hand pistols and other pistol caliber...

http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5288/5257407291_de820fb7e3_z.jpg I have. Blow back actions, even with heavy springs and heavy buffers, will not be as quiet as a pistol host with a Browning action. It will be hearing safe but not as quiet even with the best .45 can wet. You need a bigger can and then ...

Re: What are these pieces of metal in my can/gun?
I would find the problem with the 147 grn ammo first as if you change ammo without knowing then the 158 grn could strike a baffle more and cause some real damage. With the can on and looking through the entire length of the bore you may see if the hole looks round at least, if you can see more baffl...

Re: What are these pieces of metal in my can/gun?
I'm betting he threaded your barrel off the OD instead of the bore. Many gunsmiths dont know how to thread a barrel for a can, flash hiders and muzzle breaks dont need to be as concentric to the bore so they thread off the OD and dont know thats not good enough for a can. He may be one of the best g...

Re: is this ebay seller serious or is this entrapment?
These bottle adapters are not a new idea as some were made back in the late 80's or early 1990's and at one time could be found at gun shows then ATF made some new rules calling them a possible silencer part if I recall as they could be used the wrong way too easy. Soon after you didnt see th...
