Re: Act of Valor

So, is this movie better or worse than ones that feature professional wrestlers as actors?

Has the problem been found out yet? Because I'm still betting it isn't the "zombies" line.

That sounds overly cautious. Seems about as safe as lead to touch with the same precautions. Wash hands after using, and don't inhale. http://www.copperinfo.co.uk/alloys/beryllium-copper/downloads/pub-104-copper-beryllium-health-and-safety-notes.pdf The fact they make handtools out of the stuff woul...

Re: Anyone have oddball threads on their CZ 452 American?

It is, how do you say in your language, fixed. Took someone who knew what to look for about two minutes to fix. Didn't even have to run a die over it, just about thirty seconds of filing. Apparently some of the threads were mushroomed out. He just ran a file over the threads (on the gun) a few times...

Re: Anyone have oddball threads on their CZ 452 American?

Thanks for the suggestions, by all means. Someone I know has a gauge (yes, I realize you can just count them with a ruler) so I'll have him take a look at it this weekend. If my gun's threads are in spec, the die should easily go over them, no? If the adapter doesn't fit after I check and go over th...

Re: Anyone have oddball threads on their CZ 452 American?

They said they tested them on a CZ they have, and it fit (I mailed the first one back.) I doubt they have two of them out of spec...not to mention they're tested anyway. I've seen other people here saying the adapter from TSS worked fine. This guy seemed to have had the same problem I did: http://ww...

Guy on Rimfire Central had the same problem, apparently. Said he bought a 1/2 by 20 threading die and ran it over his threads and fixed them.

Anyone have oddball threads on their CZ 452 American?

I got a CZ 452 American 16" last week. I promptly ordered a thread adapter from The Silencer Store, but it didn't fit. They were very helpful in promptly sending out a second one, which I received today, but it doesn't fit either. The weird thing is, my OEM thread protector fits just fine. Did ...

Wow. http://www.sa-arms.com/product_info.php?products_id=148 Silencer Juice was developed to help aid in that unwanted first round "pop" associated with suppressor use. Quiet means Safety so it is mission-critical to stay as quiet as possible. SILENCER JUICE is proven to perform extremely ...

Where to buy a thread adapter for a CZ 452?

After doing some Googling, I see people referring to buying hotrod9mm's from Rimfire Technologies, but I can't seem to find them on that website. http://www.rimfiretechnologies.com/ Is there a new location for these things? Thanks. I bought a 452 from Bud's yesterday, so I might as well get on the b...

Yeah, the IDF. According to the various sources attached to that picture (which I've seen in many places) they were using suppressed 10/22s as a sort of quasi-less-than-lethal deterrent.

Re: Small, effective Suppressor for my CCW gun. What R my opt

Yeah. I'd never CCW a suppressor just because of the size of the thing. In my house, though, I'd gladly keep one on, if I had a .45 or .9mm suppressor. As it stands my 870 is my primary HD gun, so it's not an issue.

Re: Small, effective Suppressor for my CCW gun. What R my opt

Maybe it's because I'm a classical musician that I value my senses more, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who owns silencers to put on defensive weapons. To say, "you'll be deaf but you can always sue the perp later," is not an option for me. My life would be over. When people say, "...
