Re: ID this muzzle device?

I hope this is something special, and won't make the 51T mount go the same rout the 18T did. Or at least I can still use my 51T can with this mount.

I lucked out. I got mine for $75.00. It had a damaged barrel. If you have any questions when the time comes, you can PM me or e-mail me if you want.

Re: SBS how short/long?

Sorry, no. Here is mine. The barrels stick .5 past the forend. I shaved the sides of the forend to a splinter style, but the length is stock. It is laying on an IDPA target. I think it is 18" over all. If you go to 8" you have to cut the forend just past the lock up for the forend. Be sure...

Re: SBS how short/long?

I cut my Stoger down to 11.5". I wanted to get as close to the Roadwarrior gun as I could. If it were not for that, I think 8" would be perfect. I may do another one at 8 just for the hell of it. The Stoger is a very strong gun. I have been shooting one for small game for the last 16 years...

eazenutz33 is right. The mid 20 something age group is the worst. The same age group as the Occupy idiots. No work ethic. It is just give it to me now, and I will learn later. Also, they seem to need a break every 15 min. We have an assistant that could be a decent operator with some training, but h...

Lazy is right. The place I work is hireing now (I run a printing press). We really need alot of people. Some skilled and some not. We only got 3 new hires in the last month... I get to train the new operators and so far it is a mix. One guy is great. Eager to learn and willing to stay late. Another ...

Damascus can be had in carbon and stainless in many different patterns. There is even two different versions of titanium damascus. I have never seen a blade made of the Timascus because it cannot be hardened, but a cake knife does not need to be hardened.

I don't think violence is too far away with this group. There are agitators withing them that are paid to keep things stirred up. I'm wondering if this is being orchastrated to irrupt around election time. So how long do you think Zero could postpone the election because of all the rioting? It is g...

Re: Wild Animals Loose in Ohio

That is like saying private people should not be able to own machine-guns, based on the act of one person. Not a very good comparison. Guns are not inherently dangerous, and YOU control them. Animals will do what they want, and a tiger set loose in rural USA is bad. They hunt people. I don't think ...

Re: Building 10.5" 5.56 Upper...need buffer recommendation.

What barrel are you using? Do not use the ST-2. I have seen to many issues where that buffer is being used. It does not work like a regular buffer. Get yourself an H or an H2. My 10.5 runs great on the H, but I went up to the H3 because of the bolt not locking back when running suppressed. Jeremy

I have the same problem too, with my M&P40 with 45Osprey, can not clear the front sight, It hit 4 to 5 inch low at 10 yard, any front and rear sight will work on my M&P 40? Here is the video, after Mike from Silencerco did a DB test. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a92jdEGhIyU Great video. I...

I got the year subscription right away. It is the usual Beck, so if you like him, you will like the show. I think he has alot of good info that I would not even know where to look for it. The guy at the end is kind of lame though. Episode 2 was quite scary. Even if only half of what he is talking ab...

Re: How much clearance past the rail is needed for 51T brake

Have a machinist make a collar for you so you can push it out a bit more? Just make sure it's squared and double check by looking down the barrel to make sure you don't have any potential baffle strikes. Just an idea.. NO WAY... He would loose about .25" of threading. The ONLY two options are ...

I understand why you would use a pinguage to be concentric, but why would you not use a live center? I have seen guys make bore guids out of brass, but never steel.

Re: School me on Noveske

I think so... I also think "a generic AR" is not worth their cheapness. You really do get what you pay for. With Noveske, it is really all in their barrels. I have a 10.5" N4 with the SS barrel. Improved Polygonal twist= longer life and higher velocities which is good for the SBR's. I...

Re: How much clearance past the rail is needed for 51T brake

My M4-2000 goes ~.125" past the rear most area of the mount. I would guess the 7.62 series of suppressors should be the same. So if you have at least .125" from the sholder of the threading to the front of the forend you should be fine.
