The only real solution is to send take the barrel to a machine shop or gun smith and have the shoulder of the threaded barrel turned down .026". This will index your can to the barrel.

In theory, it prevents the barrel from tilting, you are essentially locking the barrel to the slide. Holding the slide prevents the tilting of the barrel, but it transfers all of it's energy to the frame of the handgun. The gun will break eventually.
