Re: Libyard tried to het my co-worker killed

I would dig it out, but I have gotten lazy. Two things about that: 1 - you could have it on video, and people who don't want to believe it would still not believe it 2 - "action speaks louder than words" and there's been a rash of nationwide idiocy where cops show up to a concealed-carry....

Re: Swift takeover of White House website, minutes after swearing in

Bill Clinton. My hero. Yeah, right. The guy who ordered the bombing of Yugoslavia on Christmas. No thanks. But keep dreaming whatever makes you happy, I'm sure Trump will prove that White Men are always in the right and BLM has 100% Nothing To Complain About. It'll Be Huge. There, enough upper case...

Re: Swift takeover of White House website, minutes after swearing in

Yup, swept clean of any meaningful content. Replaced with a small handful of detail-free feel-good speeches. Especially enjoyed the one about how disrespect for police is the problem and police are going to be better supported... so I guess we'll see it go from 95% of bad shoots by cops resulting i...

Re: Libyard tried to het my co-worker killed

Clicked all three links, and they weren't anything. One had this quote: If you see someone carrying a firearm in public—openly or concealed—and have ANY doubts about their intent, call 911 immediately and ask police to come to the scene,” says the CSGV on its Facebook page. “Never put your safety, o...

Re: Obama kicks gunowners on last day with ammo ban

Well there you go. Never fired a shotgun myself so what the heck do I know? Awful loud things, and I crave precision when I shoot... I felt the same way for a long time, but once I shot some trap and skeet, I realized two things: first, shotgunning is quite a bit of fun, and not particularly loud o...

Re: Obama kicks gunowners on last day with ammo ban

Well that was dumb. Studies have shown lead isn't a problem on the ground, even in streams and lakes. The real problem is when it gets ingested, something that tends to happen to predatory and carrion feeding critters due to shotgun-wounded or downed but uncollected waterfowl. If anything ban lead ...

Re: Questions on suppressors

Hello folks, I am new to the forum. You are most welcome here. Can you use a suppressor for a 45 and shoot 9mm through it safely? It is safe to shoot 9mm through a silencer made for 45 ACP. However, it might be a minor issue to screw a 45 silencer onto your typical 9mm barrel. Most 9mm are threaded...

Re: Sen Rubio files Bill to make DC Shall Issue and more

I don't like this. Just because it's the right thing to do doesn't make it the right way to do it. This is a Constitutional issue, and the SC needs to strike it down. We don't necessarily want the federal government dictating what states must do, as opposed to telling states what they may not do as ...

CZ Custom Shop has threaded barrels in stock I'm very temped.
I thought they had to be fitted, as opposed to a GLOCK plug-and-play scenario.

I concur.

Still, the bill is useful even when it fails, because it puts onto the legal record who stood where.

Re: When to shoot in defense of property

I always figured that a burglar has something to lose, and has already been shown to be a criminal. The problem is less that he's stealing your property than that he's INSIDE your property. Legally, it may not be a home invasion (if there's even a legal definition of that), but philosophically, he t...

I'm curious about the difference in overall time limit as well.

Also, does the amendment provide for an representative becoming elected as a Senator or vice-versa? Is the time cumulative in Congress, or just limited to the respective house?

So maybe it's easier for me to lecture from the side-lines of addiction, but locking up addicts "for their own good" is a testament to government run amok. As far as doctors prescribing painkillers which end up being addictive... that's the way it is. A patient has the ability to choose no...

I posted the comparison as a data point to use with liberal anti-gun folks, to show that gun violence in America is not the problem but rather deaths from opiates and heroin are a much bigger problem in the USA. Totally agree with that train-of-thought and your motivation to post. Anyways...Gun hom...

If we've learned anything from video games and action movies, it's that women can't engage in combat without showing a lot of skin. That and the more cleavage they show, the better they are at kicking butt. To be frank, this beats the hell out of a bunch of dude's having an epic shoot-out in loin-cl...

If I confronted a knife-armed person, I'd prefer an edged weapon to cut their tendons, rather than pumping lead into them and hoping for a CNS disrupt that would prevent their slitting my Loved One's throat, etc. If they are armed only w hands, then a tool that would help create leverage on a joint...

Re: Heroin Deaths surpass Gun Homicides

I'm not buying that. The stats are wrong, or are agenda-driven. Marijuana and heroin aren't interchangeable. That said, I'm not arguing against States' rights, or even the libertarian belief that what a person ingests lies within the government's jurisdiction. As far as heroin v homicides, that is a...
