Re: Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

I don't have experience with the SBRs but I do have experience with 9mm ARs. If you're going dedicated, the Glock mags are nice, but you're limited to 9mm and 40 and Glock mags. You could easily just get a regular AR and Colt mags. Then, if you got sick of 9mm, you could go back to .223 or 300 blac...

Personal Experiences on your 9mm AR SBR

As the subject implies.....I'm wanting a 9mm AR SBR and looking for your opinions on your personal setups. Would you do anything different from what you currently have? Where did you get your setups? Did you build from scratch or are there rigs already complete and ready for shipping (if so what's a...

Re: Radical Firearms 5.56

The $200 tax stamp is the same price for any can. Suppressors are a lifetime investment. If the company that makes your can goes south, you're SOL if your can does likewise. Your money is your money, but I'd spend mine on an established brand name can with a reputation, and "legs". I paid...

Re: Finally

It took a while but I finally got my Pilot II out of purgatory. I sent it on Feb 25 and picked it up July 15, if my math is correct that's just a fuzz under the norm. I now have 200 rounds down the tube of mixed Remy subs, Aquila sub, Gemtec sub and Fed Auto Match. No issues at all and I am very pl...

Re: New to the site, New to NFA items

Subsonic is less than 1100FPS. There are companies that make subsonic 5.56, although why you would want that I don't know. There are a number of companies that make drop in .22 barrels. If we knew what you had we could probably help. Swenson makes a quality 1911 barrel. I suggest you buy all your c...

Re: Thompson Machine Thirty - your maintenance story please . . .

I have a Thompson Machine Thirty. I purchased this suppressor following a recommendation from my dealer. I also wanted a user-servicable .30 suppressor that I could use on my 300 BLK SBR and have the option of shooting cast bullets. So . . . first think I found out was how hard it is to disassemble...

Re: Another Variation on "short 5.56 suppressors"

My Liberty Constitution (a couple years old mind you) is pretty short. 6.35 inches so if you have a 14.5 inch barrel it'll put you close to the 20 inch mark in OAL. It's heavy by todays standards though....comes in at almost 20 oz. It's full auto rated and it's also a take apart so you can double du...

What's the most recent word with this Regulator fellas? I've got two Kodiak TL's and an Essence. Are these things really getting down to 110 db's? Maybe I should upgrade one of them and be able to compare the two side by side.......hmmmmmm

Re: Harvester or saker762?

I was looking at the harvester this am. I noticed on the website that they say is for barrels with a minimum lenth of 22". Not sure if you spoke with them or not about the 20" barrel, but may want to check with them before you get a can to use on a 20" rifle if you shouldn't be using ...

Re: 30 cal can for precision shooting

I second the vote for the look into the Liberty Freedom Mag. I have not compared it to any other 30 cal cans yet since my Thomson Machine - Thirty has taken over 2 years to get approved at this point.....only getting longer as each day goes by. I loved the Freedom Magnum on my .308 Savage Hog hunter...

Re: Good price on a Savage fv-sr(at least I. think so)

Hunted the predating raccoon again last night. Rifle cleaned. Wires taped up so they could not get in the way. Went out to my porch at 9:45 pm and sat on the picnic table. Put a rifle rest on it elevated at an angle so the rifle rested with a point at the door side of the chicken coop. FVSR was fit...

Octane 9 if you can't spend a little extra and get the Octane 45. LOVE my Octane 9.....have the 45 on the way

As said earlier, you can take that Octane 9 down and clean it easily, good customer service if needed and damn it...that Octane just looks sexy.

I see the same pros and cons as others who posted before me.....especially losing an endcap for a while inside the shroud. But so far I like the little booger more than I dislike it. Glad to know they're available. My dealer said they didn't make them in that color, but that was about a year or more ago I think. They look nice, but now that I'm up to 5 .22 cans I think I'll hold off.

Re: Suggest a .30 suppressor.

My Liberty Freedom Mag is great on my .308 Savage Hog Hunter. And should I get my 300 win mag threaded it'll handle that job as well. After sighting it in my bullet holes were almost touching at 100 yards.

It's not light, but durable for sure! Liberty is also a great company to do business with.

Is getting both out of the question? I love my Octane 9 and have a 45 on the way......my sights on my 45 (FNX-45 tactical) clear my Liberty Miranda but sights on my Glock don't clear my Octane 9.......I don't have experience with the Osprey.
