Re: Joe @ Red Jacket Introduction!
I'm not sure we ever got your paper work Bender, if so let me check and we can pick back up on the demo. Well it sounds like Joe supplied some products, where are the reviews? Joe said he was going to send some product to me for testing and since then has disappeared. Spoke with a couple people he ...

It does look really Familiar... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOqLBp0nfwY They spent a LOT of time in the booth and then came back in "civilian" shirts all week asking about our Modular Monolithic Shotgun can. Like they need to copy red Jacket.   that's your "game&q...

Not the first as stated in the vid. Ugly but at least serviceable , over priced.

Re: Do i want/need a take apart cleanable can - i say yes
People have been putting powder coat ( dry)then add something in a plastic container with bullets and shake them then bake and claim it works without mess and is cheap and easy. You can read about it on reloading forums where people are cheap and worried about barrel leading with their own castings....

Re: Do i want/need a take apart cleanable can - i say yes
I would like to have take apart rifle cans as long as they where designed to be secure. If anything for inspection reasons.
Many still think you don't need take apart pistol cans! I bet many companies will have them in the future just because people want them but they need to be strong.

Both are old tech and just copies of maxims high bore in square form. If square worked good in 22lr you would think there would be a few already. ( some people still like playing with blocks  ) Are you saying that Maxims were poor performers because as I recall Al Paulson tetsed one and th...

Ah too funny that anyone thinks a whitehouse.gov petition is "fighting for your rights" All you're doing by making a list like that, a list which WILL fail to get to 100k, is showing how much of a minority you are. They can't get mag limits past because of millions of people protesting th...

Re: Input needed regarding 9mm jacket separation.
The good news is you have a good can with SS baffles and check inside now and then. ( unlike some people we know )
Test each brand ammo separately on white paper at close range and check inside the can after each brand. Or use something else and see if it goes away.

I still use the 9 the most because it's so damn quiet with the smaller stuff like 22lr and shorter/lighter.

Re: My first can Question
Look hard at the Octane. The TiRant has aluminum baffles and will be a pain to clean 22lr and hard cast 44/45 subs. It's the easiest to clean can and stronger since the baffles act as another tube wall and are heat treated SS.
Silencershop has them on sale cheaper too.
Love my 9 & 45!

I would guess too much water which deflected the bullet which hit the baffle which shredded the jacket.
Was it fine without water? Did you not test your barrel without water first?

Re: 9mm can
Clean your octane every thousand rounds?? Why? You guys are stuck on this cleaning thing or your Octane's really need a design change. As far as jacketed bullets go, I didn't shoot lead before I had silencers and I don't shoot lead now. No change, no special load except I went to 147 grain bullets....

And they used to say you never have to clean them.
Then they had to compete and make them take apart But now everyone is making them with a stay clean tube so no need for tools or pounding out baffles.
Isn't progress great. remember dial phones?

I guess some people would prefer a more quiet suppressor. Denial of stainless fans? (can this be a new thing?) I shoot Montana Gold TMJ, so no need to shoot lead and no need to clean lead. Carbon which doesn't wipe right off my inferior aluminum baffles is quickly brushed off with a nylon brush. Th...
