Re: How do you lock up your HD gun? / Pistol safe for my 220
What is the "In&Out Supplemental Lock" add-on? It is a unique feature to this brand of safes. It's a deadbolt to the push-button lock when additional security is wanted and not quick access. Maybe you leave a HD gun in there all the time. It also funtions as a backup key entry. This f...

I had a bush button safe hidden by the bed and replaced it, years later I forgot the combo and my boy opened it in seconds with a trick he found on line. " stupid easy".

Re: Specwar 762 vs Omega
I know both are on sale right now but if $ is not an issue I would look at the Rugged " Surge" and you would get both sizes in one. Henry designed the Specwar and Silencerco greatly benefited from his input so he deserves a look. Modular cans are the new thing. And you can bet it will be k...

Depends on your shooting skills. Me, my boy, and my neighbor all shoot pistols at those ranges and most times better than those rifle groups posted. ( we do shoot daily though) Hell, with rifle they better damn we'll be touching if rested and on 3" -4" swingers un rested. Cheap r...

Yes a smal amount of Teflon or a tiny amount of blue loctite. Or dirty threads .Montecristo wrote:thread tape ?? teflon tape maybe ? how hard is to take the can out with the blue loctite added ?

Re: Expensive Mistake
That had to take more than finger tight to do that.
SL seems to have gone down hill so I'd look there , I doubt it's an issue with Liberty unless miss marked but again you should have felt it and stopped ( just like on dirty threads)

It happens on clean oiled threads, try a small amount of thread tape or the slightest drop of blue loc tite.

Re: Storm lake threaded barrel concerns
Ugareloader might have a point, I have a pre Remington SL threaded 1911 barrel ( using Octane 45) and it is perfect and very acurate! Also have a standard SL 1911 barrel that shoots nice groups .
Maybe they are on a rushed ensembly line now and QC suffers.
Send it back for a new one.

Re: New problem with a new suppressor on my AR15
A little hard to understand your description but sounds like your bolt is cycling too fast to fully pick up the next round trying to come up from the mag. . this is because suppressors create extra blow back/gas pressure and your gas port ( hole in barrel ) may be on the big side. First thing I woul...

Re: Opinions on Warlock II .22 and GA Reece 5 5.56
I've shot the Recce 556. It was very loud. Louder than the Sco K models by a lot. 1st can that I never wanted to shoot again. GA has a lot of great cans, this isn't one of them That is quite the opposite from what the Silencer Shop said. I was ready to pull the trigger on one but now I think I will...

Re: How many really want a NEW 9mm bolt action carbine?
I'd like to see a fair priced bolt using common mags I already have ( like my Glock carbine) . Other guns and calibers already fill the "need" suppressed but a 9mm bolt would be a fun toy.
No modded surplus for me and don't trust the Armscore rifles so far.

Re: Failure to feed with 9 mm reloads in short barrel guns
I don't bother trying to reload light 9mm BUT
I ran some of my 147gr suppressor loads through my boys Kahr just for fun and they worked perfectly. Loads were mixed brass Win 231 with Montana gold CMJ testing different charges and OAL.
Using 147gr makes everything less complicated.

Warlock II: solid, but aluminum .22 cans suck in general GA Reece: Never heard of them. That should tell you something if they have been around a while. Sig: None of these are in the wild yet. Their .22 can metered loudly compared to the competition when tested by SilencerShop, though their test ri...

Re: What should the bore diameter be on a 5.56 hider/brake?
I pulled out a old early production .556 brakeout (new in package old stock) and the back of a 1/4" drill bit fits almost snug but a 17/64 won't . My 308 FH's are bigger bore.
Hope this helps.
