Re: SilencerShop and Liberty Suppressors calling it quits!
In most cases the bigger a buisness gets the further they get from the people and forget their roots. I don't like to see big corp bullying smaller company's either. I remember when Majormalfoockup posted testing on a defective Liberty TL and promised to make it right then let it hang there then aba...

Re: New SilencerCo Octane vid
Probably has something to do with the end cap of the Octanes actually retaining the core parts of the suppressor as opposed to the Saker fittings that do not. Yes, a dumb law but true. Having both, I don't feel the need and if you really need a few less DB's put some legal water in it. I'd like to ...

Re: looking for threaded barrel for my Browning Hi-Power 9 mm
Actually this is a wives tail and very few factory barrels have ever separated (% wise.) I'd be more concerned about frame batter and proper recoil spring. ( suppressed and +P) For the OP. BHP a and Early CZ 75 barrels are thin leaving minimum shoulder so it's tricky. Some used threaded extensions b...

Re: G21 & G19 Octane HD Problems!
What ammo are you using? Warm? Sub sonic (9mm)? Sounds like you had stove pipes and the barrel is working harder to unlock with weight on it. Have you broken them in with the cans on them. Test different ammo for sure and find someone with threaded pistols and try thier cans, that will tell you a lot.

Re: G21 & G19 Octane HD Problems!
My question is are you used to aiming through the can? Could be the weight and lock up, have you broken in these barrels? Any marks on the baffles or end cap? Do you know anyone who has threaded pistols to try the cans on? Also try different loads with the cans. ( you reload?) I don't have a G-21 bu...

You missed a lot. he shoots Glocks well without the can. Many do, some don't and blame the gun.Bendersquint wrote:Well the Glock is designed as a CQC weapon so I wouldn't be shocked that it doesn't perform as well outside those environment..

Nice vid, glad you mentioned SWR .
Try taking a quad or bike out to the targets. also try pistols at 100 yards ( more fun) and avoid any Remington 22 ammo.

Re: Suppress an M&P Shield or SR9c in 9mm?
You have to remember you are adding a lot of weight on the barrel and blowback can beat up small guns and they can be finicky.
I don't even bother unless 22lr and I have lots of threaded guns and mostly shoot suppressed. My carry guns are carried UN suppressed with stock barrels anyway.

Este is right, the small guns will struggle suppressed and not hold up well to the extra blowback over time.
Save the cans for the larger sizes unless 22LR.

Re: Basic questions about suppressor use indoors
Once, when I was younger and dumber, I was wondering what it was like to shot my .40 S&W indoors. I had double doors off our den. Backed up against the far wall and let fly. Big mistake. My ears rang for 3 days but they did get better. In the heat of the situation, ringing ears would be the lea...

The Savage Stevens is the same as the Springfield , some people have modified tube feds to come out at an angle to clear the silencer for loading.

Re: 300 blackout rifle by Ruger
If you don't mind an over-sized action the Ruger seems like a winner for sure. I've always considered Ruger guns as rugged, practical and sensible guns. Sometimes that's more important than looks. But when I look at my old Vixen I must confess it's a gorgeous little rifle... " sometimes"?...

No AAC/Rem smoking crack price tag and detachable mag . If no bugs I will buy one for sure. The 18" 308 predator is nice too.
