I guess he's confused about which can you actually have. If it was made in Phoenix, it is an AWC "MK9". Gemtech makes the "MK9K" as you keep calling yours.

I also have the Gemtech MK9K. I can take it apart without effort right after shooting it. Shooting indoors and under a close cover will make it louder but I only shoot outdoors and never use hearing protection. I only shoot 147 or 158 subsonic ammo. I use it on a fullsize and mini uzi. I went with t...

They are making towers for this drum to work on Mini-14, 10/22, and other weapons as well.

If the springs are not engaging the mount all the way, call AAC and see what they can do about it. I was told to oil it up good and mount it several times to get the can to engage all the way.

I use the 762SD, on an AR10, for hunting whitetails in MS. It reduces the sound to an unsrppressed .22. I have shot 25 shot strings without the can working loose. I have the 18T mount and have no problem with it on the AR10 or the AR15 that I run it on. It holds just fine.

I just hope it's better that the Grendel or the Excell. Both were jam-o-maitcs. I have an Automag II and have had no problems with it. High Standard still produces the AutomagII but still has only 10 rounds. 30 rounds would be impressive if it works. I think some made reference to the double stack m...

I hunt in Mississippi where the use of a suppressor is legal. The shot was 175 yds using an Armalite AR10 with AAC 762 SD. Impact was right behind the shoulder. I usually go for a neck shot but she was walking. I like to shoot a big buck like the next guy but I am a meat hunter also, plus they are c...

I want to use this on an AR15 also so don't I need the QD mounts?
Yes it is. But you will need a thread adapter to mount it on the AR-15 also.

I'm working on a single shot 308 rifle and will use the AAC QD comp that works with my 762SD. I have heard good things about the comp on bolt guns.

I really like that AR setup. I'm working on a similar SBR but going more for the SD look. Pics to come when finished.

I would like to know this also. AAC has a section on their site with all of the drawings and specs to use with a particular can or mount. You can measure yours to see if it needs to be cut.

A trust has to own something to be legal. That's why you have to send a scedule A with the form-4.
