Re: Integral P38/P1 for best performance : length ratio?

Is short your highest priority? Short generally != quiet. If it has to be short and has to be 9mm, the shortest I can think of is a product that still isn't on the market: boberg XR9 . The barrel appears to be fixed, so probably no cycling concerns, but as they don't exist yet it is definitely obscu...

Re: OccupyOakland Protester Demands $20 Minimum Wage

Requiring employers to offer all that and $20 minimum wage is the best way to put more people out of work and on the streets. Where do they think this money comes from?

Re: MP5 clone. Where?

The other guys are right. Authentic HK is your best bet if you can afford it. If not, I'd say one of these. These are made in Turkey on HK machining under HK licensing. The rumor is the manufacturer will no longer sell to the US to it is possible reduced availability will drive prices up. You would ...

Re: I am brand new to the board so please don't flame me too

Ultimately, if you want to work within the system you have to accept we have no control over the system. You just have to grin and bear it. The public won't run to your defense to defend your right to own a silencer or machinegun the same way they would to defend someone's right to smear feces on a ...

Good luck trying to explain this to a local cop or uppity RSO. At least with NFA items you have paperwork from the Federal Government to display to make them STFU. Yeah, I can see that conversation... "Sir, my rifle is NOT illegal, even though it is really, really short" "Yes it is, a...

Re: Bull gores matador in the eye as spectators gasp in shoc

I see what you're getting at, and how it could be difficult to define a clear line legally. Still, if you got hunting for either for sport or for food do you go for a clean kill shot or deliberately only wound the animal to draw out it's suffering? Bullfighting, dog fighting, etc. are just unnecessa...

Re: Police equipment stolen from unmarked car ..... a G36c,

I have no problem with law enforcement being equipped with machineguns or sub-guns, so long as civilians may lawfully own the same equipment. G36c's aren't for civvies, so I do have a problem with that.

Re: Looking for the quietest rimfire host (Vid)

I was surprised the GSG beat out the MK II. Chondro, would you mind doing a review of the GSG? I have a Ruger MKIII 22/45, but it's still not exactly the same as a 1911 and I'm trying to become more comfortable with that platform.

Re: Will a .45 can work on .22?

This makes me think of another question. I have a Thompson QMF for 45 and, with adapter, for 9mm. Would I be legal to get a new interior baffle made to fit 22? Would Thompson be legal to make that part as a repair or replacement part? Unfortunately, no. You can't change the caliber of the suppresso...

Guys where are you putting the buffer for the AR's? I have the CMMG bolt as well as a Ciener..though they are all exactly the same really..Where to find one as well? I believe most people use rubber washers found at any hardware store to go on the spring rod and prevents the bolt from coming back a...
