Before I found the new Ruger 77/44's I had previously talked with Doug about suppressing my T/C contender. He suggested I go with a 1-10 twist Match Grade Machinery barrel. I ordered and now have an 11 & 1/2 inch MGM barrel that probably won't get used now. Oh well? I'd rather have the new Ruger...

Doug at SRT recommends a fast twist barrel for use with the 300 grain and up bullets.

I hope this means Ruger is bringing back the 77/44. If so, I know where my next purchase is going to go. A new SRT integral. Groovy!!
