Re: .22 LR AR15 barrel - for shooting subsonic w/ bulk pack

And just so you are aware, the Taccom barrels in your link are tensioned. Meaning, the 'barrel' is actually just a liner that is threaded on each end, so that it can be brought under tension to keep it straight. Not saying it's good or bad (never had first hand experience), but I would lean towards...

Re: Last day to be grandfathers in from new Trust rules?

BTW, there are good changes in the proposal for inheritance, at least I think so, but it isn't where I have spent my time. what changes NEED to be made to the inheritance of NFA firearms? They already transfer, tax-free, on a Form 5 to next of kin or whoever is the designated heir. only thing they ...

Re: NFA branch, what are you doing???

i called the day before the shutdown, was told my form 4, submitted in February, had gone second pending middle of July and would be at my dealer within 90 days. my fear is that trusts are being held up until after the new regulation goes into effect. almost like they picked an arbitrary date someti...

Re: ATF NFA - Wait Time Is Now 15-Months (As of 2013-10-25)

The above letter has a few typos in it that were corrected. Ya'll get the idea. i sent multiple letters to Lamar Smith at the opening of the 90 day comment period on the changes to the NFA Trust rule changes. i have talked with their office about it when they called me back to follow up. They were ...

Re: Overall market for suppressors

if you wanted to get a "profit" number that was somewhat close (minus office supplies, computer software/hardware and facilities upkeep) then he should have asked what the cumulative salary was for the examiners and office support staff. I think since they are all government employees, you...

Re: New 10/22 host...

My PWS carbon fiber barrel arrived today. I installed it this evening and I really like it. I think it looks good and the rifle balances very well with a suppressor mounted. The barrel seems to be of top notch quality. I hope it shoots as good as it looks. The rifle started life as a stock Ruger 10...

Re: Pending as Feb 11th

had my Ark30 check cashed Feb 12, went pending March 21.

im expecting late August especially since Sara Jones is no longer an examiner at all. Jason Bowers may be a little overwhelmed and learning on the fly.

Re: Help deciding on 7.62 supperssor

My suggestion would be the TBAC 30p-1 or 30BA. Same can, just different ways to mount them. Light, superbly accurate, and rock solid. I have a 30BA, and buying different brakes for different thread pitches is no big deal. TBAC's customer service is top notch and so is their products. You should seri...
