Re: AAC Ti-Rant 9mm...

Question: When I re-assemble my Tirant, should the front cap be flush with the body of the silencer? I can't remember if it was or not when I first took it apart. Nothing is rattling inside, so I'm guessing I'm good. I've only had her 6 hours now. When tightened down, the front end cap sits slightl...

"hoplon" is just silencerco's marketing name for the design. It means nothing beyond that. here it is, pretty straight forward - http://www.tenpoundmonkey.com/web/hoplon.jpg Did they thin the middle of the spacer to take weight out?!? If so, I guess you can tell patrick his idea would hav...

Re: WARNING!!!!!!!!Element 2 finish problems!!

AAC claims the finish is cerakote, but it comes off far too easy. if this is cerakote then cerakote is basically a thin coat of paint. Cerakote is generally the most durable of the sprayed-on/baked-on finishes… I wonder when the switch was made on the finish? For years and years, they used Duracoat...

Re: AAC Blackout Brake vs Blackout Flash Hider Suppressro Mo

likely it would slightly affect it. Anytime you tweak what is mounted, and the tension on the muzzle device it can shift your zero. I'm with Robert- I hate shooting SBRs with brakes unsuppressed. So which mount would work best with my 11.5" M4 barrel and a SBR PS90? There is no Best. they will...

Glock already provides factory threaded barrels for the 17, 19, 21 since 2011 (through Acusport). All metric threaded.

And they work with all generations AFAIK. It works perfectly fine in my gen2 G19.
and in my gen4 '19

But they are not processing forms 3, 4, or 1 yet. (only form 6s).

Form 4s will be the last one added back to the system, and no one knows how long that will take.

Re: Review: Liberty Suppressors Chaotic

You've got an extremely fast moving cone of expanding gas, and the baffles need to 'intercept' this gas. just having more of them over the same distance won't put them in position to grab and redirect any more gas. Having a handful more baffles for a given design can make it a little quieter (m4-20...

Inconel does a decent job, Silencerco is using stellite blast baffles but i don't know if the Saker has been out long enough to see real world results. Don't they loan a sample to DoD for 10k rd abuse testing? Seems like having DoD supply the ammo and record/report results to Mfr would be a good te...

The thing you won't find us doing is quoting decibel reduction numbers as they are too dependant on combo of host weapon, ammo type, weather conditions, etc. This will be a big problem for you moving forward. We have yet to see a manufacturers claims that aren't heavily contested by everyone. Compa...
