Sound doubles every 3db.

So 120db is half of 123db. And so on.

Now when a suppressor drops 30db it really adds up.

I've had good luck with my RRA 9MM mag block. It doesn't damage or modify the lower. It has bolt hold open, when used with colt mags (or similar). I honestly cant remember the last time I had a stove pipe or any failure. Unlike the VM-Hy-tech I had. Although it could have been the shitty UZI mags.
