Re: How far have you driven for a conjugal visit?

I had a girlfriend once that was in San Quentin. I live in Florida, you do the math...lol I've driven just locally I had two cans purchased two hours away and I just took the dealers word that they looked REAL good. A Prodigy and an Aviator and I was thoroughly impressed when I picked them up 2 1/2 ...

Re: Form 1 correction papers

Is this for e-file or paper Form 1? Not sure what you mean by "correction papers". When I e-filed my Form 1 on December 23 it went into "Pending Research" because what I needed wasn't in their pre-populated drop down menus. On January 11 (19 days later) I received a communicatio...

FORM 1 Question.

I have sent in a Form 1 for an sbr AR 300 BO with a 9.5 inch barrel listing as my intent. The Form 1 is pending. If I decide I want to go shorter, how could I do that?

Thanks. Coincidently I registered all my stuff on the nfa tracker right after I made this thread but had a hard time reading the graph. So prolly another month wait on my sbr's.

Quick question.

Can you use a whole uncut but softer wipe to make it completely enclosed?

Re: CMMG 4.5 sbr question

I got it a few days after posting my last post and I can say that I am not disappointed one bit. Worth the wait. Very robust unit. I got the barrel with a collar and the bolt. Barrel is in a house far away. All I have to do is wait.

Re: CMMG 4.5 sbr question

UPDATE: I called and left a message after two failed attempts by the internet. He called back within 20 minutes. Turns out he is a pretty decent guy in my book. Does barrels and bolts in batches and said he let this run go a little too much but he was shipping 4" to 12'' inch barrels and bolts ...

Re: First SBR and a question

My 7" AR15 was perfect till I decided to convert it to a 22lr barrel. Probably shot close to 4K through the 7" with only one operator induced jam. Damn! 7 inches is ideal for me but I'm gonna stay with 10 for now. What kind of gas system did you have with it. I went with 10 cause I think ...

Re: First SBR and a question

I don't own a 5.56 SBR but from what I've read this caliber does not work well in SBR mode. All of mine run like raped apes. Never had an issue with a 5.56 SBR THIS ^^^ In a bit, I will have an SBR'd 5.56 as well as 300BO and .22 and I think that if you have the right lengthened barrel they w...

Re: CMMG 4.5 sbr question

I was cheap before and ordered the S&W M&P15/22 thinking it would save me money and it would be what I wanted, now I'm wishing I went with a regular lower and a 22 upper because I would only need 1 stamp for my regular AR lower, not one for a regular AR and one for a 22. let us know how thi...

Re: Interesting TTAG post about engraving

right, but the serial # on the non-NFA can remain the same when it becomes NFA. Have to reread what i posted but i am pretty sure I never said that the serial number could not remain the same. My whole point is that it is required that the NFA item be engraved with model/city/state/makers full name...

Ive shot a dealer's Viper on a Mac and it didn't appear to have any wobble. I even asked him if the can locked up pretty good and he didn't seem to have any complaints.
