Re: Any HAM radio guys out there?

Flight time on the little quad is short. About 12 mins with full payload of 400g. Range right now is about 1 mile. My big bird I am putting together is going to have a much longer time aloft. About 50~60 mins aloft and a range of 10~20 miles depending on terrain. http://www.readymaderc.com/store/ind...

Re: Any HAM radio guys out there?

I just got my Tech license and then General a month later. I'm doing it for FPV RC airplanes. I have no radio equipment other than the 433Mhz transmitter for control and a 1.2Ghz and 5.8Ghz video transmitter. I may get into it more later on but it's a money thing... I got my Tech and General last O...

Re: 762-sdn-6 on HK SBR piston upper

You can check the ejection pattern and see if it is overgased. If it, put a heavier or custom buffer until it's not and it functions correctly with and without suppressor.

Re: 762-sdn-6 on HK SBR piston upper

I have about 10K on one of the 416 with muzzle brake.

Works great when not using a suppressor too.

Just don't stand in the cone of air, off to each side of the rifle. :D

You don't know what happened.... The video does not show really what happened at the Range Rover, during that very first stop... Don't get me wrong, I am a motorcyclist and have been for years. But this is also a perfect example of Mob mentality. People do stupid s--t when they are in a pack. Who es...

Re: AAC MG-SD

Is the AAC MG-SD silencer actually available for civilian purchase? I'm looking forward to having some fun after I get out of Cali. Yes, any of our dealers can order it, however the only two available FHs are threaded 9/16-24LH and .7812-24 Are they on the shelves if I actually ordered one? Thanks

Re: 338 Titan thread patterns

When they first came out, the thread on Titan was available in 3/4-28 as well.

It doesn't seem to be the case though, anymore.

Thunder Beast still has 3/4-28 listed:

338 Titan thread patterns

Has AAC discontinued the 3/4 x 28 thread pattern? Either thread on can or muzzle brake would work. Thanks

Not too difficult. Take upper off and gently remove all the little screws on the side. Make sure you don't loose the nuts. Upper splits in half and you are left with barrel, extension, gas system, etc. Gotta not my favorite "suppressed" platform. That inspection port is right next to your ...
