Hi,
Perhaps I should have written "common military"
Although there are tens of thousands of select fire weapons in civilian ownership in several European countries.

Nice thoughts from a peer, as it should be in a case like this. I have sent my regards to Kevin as well. Having been working in the suppressor industry for a while, I can not really understand all the drama. Products should compete and the people shoud be getting along with each other, maybe catchin...

Re: TRG M10 can ?
Chris, The smaller than .30 calibres are not that common yet in military and law enforcement service, with most rifles being .308, 300 Win Mag or .338 LM and the BoreLock mounting suppressors were primarily designed for those markets. If there is a serious demand for a BoreLock mounting SL7 in small...

Hi Chris, Good to hear from you, I remember your visit very well! The muzzle brake design has two parts: - Rear part is threaded against the barrel - Front part is threaded and is timed and locked in place with a screw http://www.aseutra.fi/assets/images/SL7-BL-338.jpg We did look at at different so...

Updated Ase Utra website
We have updated our website: http://www.aseutra.fi/index-en http://www.aseutra.fi/assets/images/etusivukuva/etusivu.jpg The older site had been lagging behind our product development and product availability. I am now working on getting a sample batch imported there in the U.S, hopefully before SHOT...

Re: ID this muzzle device?
Ctaylor, I think you are probably quite close in your estimate. With regards to these types of mounts overall, we use an alignment surface in front of the threads on our BoreLock flash hider and muzzle brake mounts, very effectively blocks the fouling from coming back onto the mounting threads and t...

Re: Hearing / Noise Exposure Limits
One of the things that new people to silencers get confused with is the difference between continuous noise and impulse noise. A jet taking off is 130dB but a unsuppressed P22 is 155dB. This causes people to say OMG and all sorts of other stuff. Hearing damage is DOSE RELATED on impulse sound. A fe...

300 AAC Blackout for deer?
Hey guys, My boss Kari was not really aware of the 300 AAC Blackout calibre, it just came into discussion this week at work. We've had problems here with timers on suppressed centrefire rifles;
- Sniper rifle stage on the Finnish reserve 3-gun championships, one of our suppressors on a Sako TRG-22 that was a loaner for those without a sniper rifle
- Shooting a suppressed HK416 in reserve 3-gun matches

Congrats to both companies!
Contracts like these are of course great financially, however they take years of hard work and effort to get.

Re: Imported suppressor availability
Is there anyone currently importing b&t, BR-Tuote, Ase Utra, or SAK suppressors? I need to get some samples. Used but not abused are fine. If you are an 07/02 why don't you just import them yourself? Its the ONLY way you will get one. I know of a bunch of B&T, BR's and SAK's in the country,...

Introducing the Ase Utra BoreLock muzzle brake
We now have a muzzle brake mount available in our BoreLock attachment system. http://www.aseutra.fi/english/product/SL7-BL_338.jpg The muzzle brake is a two piece design, as we did not feel that a screw aligning the complete brake or shims behind the brake would be an optimum solution. The rear part...

The Silencer Research website is still the most comprehensive collection of silencer reviews and information in the world. The $30 charge is well worth what you get, as there are nearly 100 silencers tested there. lol wut? If a review is a small chart of numbers with no explanation of averaging or ...

Re: Bore size?
We have a .334 bullet channel in our .30 calibre NorthStar suppressors and a .342 bore on our jet-Z suppressors. It would look to be tighter compared to many of the U.S. suppressors, however we have not received many complaints about accuracy or excessive point of impact shift, with thousands of the...

Would be interesting to see the dB results with this upper receiver as in our experiences we are looking at c. 142-144 dB at the shooters right ear with an 14.5" barreled M4 carbine.
