Thanks for the information.

I think your response tells me everything that I need to know about the performance of the "Matrix." If you refuse to voluntarily send it, you must not want it compared to other silencers.

Thanks PCARMS for posting those for me. Yes its a big can but I have let to here a quiter 9mm can. I really like being able to it take it part to clean it out once a year or so. Hello and thanks for posting. I am wondering if you have heard it fired next to other 9mm silencers? If so, which ones? I...

With all due respect, I find it odd that you post MP5 results with a comment that you forgot to test the AAC unit. Come on, man. This isn't science. You either test them all at the same time as you set out do, and if you don't or can't, keep your pants on about publishing the results for a day or t...

So come on Kevin get to work and start pumping out those cans. Sorry for any delays, we have been extremely busy lately. The M4-2000 silencer is undergoing slight improvements and will be completed within a few weeks. We have been working hard on several military projects the last 6-8 months. As a r...

What particular unit from AWC are you talking about? We have recently tested several, including the Nexus II, Jupiter Eye, Odyssey, and a couple of others...I will have to review our testing log. Some were quieter than their older units, some were louder. Some of the new units just seem to be using...

We either own or have metered everything available. Many manufacturers make decent products for .45 pistols...the AWC Nexus II, CCF Impuls, and the Gemtech SOS.
Really state-of-the-art stuff includes the SWR HEMS, KAC, and the AAC Evolution-45. You would not be disappointed with any of these choices.

That's a pretty cool find. I've heard it's very tough to suppress an AK. It's interesting to see how the ol' Warsaw Pact hardware evolved. AAC, along with industry insider danbrew, have silenced several batches of AK's over the last year and a half for U.S Spec Ops. It is a very difficult weapon to...

The Vortex-2 baffle stack was improved to it's current performance sometime around 2001-2002. The Outback II and Seahunter share the same, new and improved, Vortex-2 baffle stack. The Seahunter is louder due to the mounting system. If you have Vortex-2 built after 2001-2002 it should be as quiet as ...

Length added to weapon...

In the future test, I would like to see length added to the weapon. This generally seems more important to military customers than OAL.

Thanks.

You can safely and comfortably shoot 5.56mm with a quality silencer and without ear protection. We guarantee it or your money back. You can use a 7.62mm silencer on your 5.56mm for adequate suppression. But, it is kind of like putting off-road tires on your Porsche. Silencer technology is advancing ...

The CCF/B&T suppressors tend to be well made and offer adequate performance. There are several companies that offer better sound supression, AAC, SWR, and KAC to name a few. Silencers from these companies in .45 offer pretty impressive sound reduction. 9mm and .40 tend to be much easier to obtai...

I think that best scenario is to always rely on hearing the silencer first hand, or an independent comparison between many different silencers. It's too bad that a couple a manufacturers have ruined comparison articles in printed periodicals. This has been a huge disservice to consumers. In any othe...

No other issues, just watch out for the alignment. It just seems that a lot of people purchase the cheapest 3-lug adapter they can find. That, sometimes, leads to misalignment.
