If Obama thinks his apology calmed things down over there, imagine how much better they'd feel if he'd resign!
(Well, it doesn't cost anything to hope does it?)

Stupid is as stupid does(check your CCW permit!)
Don't be Uncle Urban. I have carried guns for a very long time(since my teens), papered or not, but for many years I've been a good boy and been all legal and such, and had a carry permit. Permits here in Oregon are good for four years, and for some reason(don't ask me why) I thought I still had 1-1...

Re: Bigfoot Hunters: Animal Planet's Monster Sleuths Go High
The fact that adults think there is a man like animal running around in the woods in places all over the USA just goes to show we do not have enough mental institutions. The fact that there is a show about finding said creature just goes to show how gullible people can be. I don't get anything out ...

I'll still watch it if there isn't anything else on(Spartatcus: Vengeance, Portlandia, Walking Dead, etc) or I'm out of decent books from my last run to the library.
I guess my reaction would be... meh.

Congrats urban assault, you read the whole article.:) My excuse is I go through many articles during the course of a day, it was a short article and I should have read more than a couple of paragraphs, it isn't much of an excuse but there it is. I guess this shows that we should all take a moment m...

Did NONE of you fine folks read the article behind the linky? The politician in question is decidedly pro-gun, and the author of the article is highly pissed that the Politician mentioned is pushing an anti-abortion bill in his legislature that would require a pregnant woman to view an ultrasound 48...

Re: M14 vs FAL
fstbk65, when it comes to mounting optics on a FAL I fell hard for the Williams QD-Pro when I had my short-gas Imbel FAL. It's a milled picatinny railed cover that replaces your old dustcover. Fits TIGHT on the rails, so once it's on it's better to just leave it there. They are very hard to find now...

Re: Open Carry citizen disarmed and killed with his own gun
Ideally you'd open carry an unloaded handgun but also carry a concealed loaded handgun. Then when little Timmy the gangbanger shoves you and grabs your open carry pistol you know the situation. No, ideally you'd have a ten-foot pole strapped to your back that was extended out in front of you, with ...

Re: Little Noticed Provision Kills ATF Sporting Shotgun Ban
We can thank Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) for sliding this into the bill. The Liberals have been pulling the same maneuver for so long to get their anti-gun agenda into law, it is refreshing to see it used to benefit our side this time. What is pathetic though is how instead of the good government we des...

Re: A SBR Without the Paperwork
Good luck trying to explain this to a local cop or uppity RSO. At least with NFA items you have paperwork from the Federal Government to display to make them STFU. Yeah, I can see that conversation... "Sir, my rifle is NOT illegal, even though it is really, really short" "Yes it is, a...
