Re: Least frp

When I was doing my research leading up to my first .22 silencer I came to the conclusion that the AAC Element 2 had the least FRP. Then I started looking at Element disassembly tools, reading tales of woe about maintaining it and poor AAC customer service and bought a Sparrow. I'm one happy camper....

Heck, I read that MagPul is making plans to bug to Texas if Co passes their mag ban. The ban ( HB 1224 ) has passed the house committee, after the dem controlled committee allowed the folks for the ban to present first, let them talk longer than the allotted time and then "didn't have enough t...

As I recall (going on memory so take it with a grain of salt) there was a Machine Gun News review... Is this November, 1991 (Vol 5, No 6) Ciener article the one you're thinking of? If not I can go digging some more in my old issues. I could never could bring myself to throw them out! Try not to cry...

Let me put in a good word for Gary at GKCustoms in Colorado Springs. He just did two Contender barrels for me, and I snapped a couple shots after he was done with my .357 threading. He was in seventh heaven when I supplied him with Silencerco’s and Libertycan’s thread specs because it allowed him to...

Re: Shadow Ops Weaponry billet lower pre-prder

Just read on another board that despite saying that orders would be filled in the order received, SOW bumped all the New York state orders to the front of the list to get as many to folks before the ban comes down.

Seriously, I'm perfectly OK with that move!

Re: So why is "7" rds the magic number for NY?

Because they didn't want to outlaw revolvers, and all revolvers hold six rounds*.

*Yhea, I know that some hold more but I'd put money that they didn't know that.

Best thing they could possibly do would be to not amend the law, and make the police abide by the same laws.

Unfortunately that won't happen.

Check the outside of the slide behind the ejection port. The case may be spinning around so fast when it comes out that the mouth is getting bent when it hits the behind the ejection port.

Specifically, disassemble the firearm, screw the barrel on the can and carefully sight down the barrel and assure that everything's aligned before your first shot.
