Military Grade?
I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge or opinion regarding the quality and type of suppressors that the "Big Boys" (military/special forces/CIA/etc) uses. Are the suppressors commonly seen on this forum (TiRant, Osprey, Octane, etc) used by these people as well, or they use completel...

I have heard good things about the Bowers CAC9. I have one pending so I won't know how it performs for a couple more months.

Form 3 times
My local dealer ordered a Octane for me (in stock at the supplier) 4 months ago and is still waiting form 3 clearance so it can be shipped to him. Is this typical for form 3 times??? I'm hoping not to have TOO many birthdays before this whole process is completed!!!

Sub or super?
Will standard .22LR ammo go supersonic in a Ruger 22/45 and a 10/22 (with a Sparrow attached) or is subsonic ammo needed? Thanks again.

How many rounds?
In everyone's opinion, how many rounds on average should go through a Sparrow and a Tirant 45 before breaking them down for cleaning? Thanks!

With regard to the examiner "assistants" that have been hired, does anyone know how many there are, what their function actually is, and when we might see any results from the help they may provide? Awesome job guys with both the mission and the video!!! Thanks!!!

Re: Using stainless/brass media to clean baffles.
Just an FYI. Someone earlier asked about cleaning a Sparrow monocore in a tumbler. Today, I was tumbling some baffles and decided to add the Sparrow core to see what would happen. It came out absoutely great!!! I was using the big Thumler's model B High speed with ss pins with water and dish deterge...

Bender, did you ever do a test with brass tumbling media? Curious about anodizing damage to aluminum baffles. Thanks.

Hey guys, thanks. I have shot guns for about 45 years and have heard them called both names so I assumed they were the same thing. Rogerme, thanks for the correction as otherwise I would have never known the difference. jt526, thanks for the picture which helps a simple mind like mine to comprehend ...

Uzi question
I recently purchased a Vector Uzi 9mm and went out and shot it for the first time today. Purred like a kitten except for one thing; the first shot, the bullet would mis-feed, turn sideways and jam. Pull back the bolt and dump the bullet out and would run perfectly for the rest of the clip. It would ...

Re: SS Sparrow Ultrasonic Cleaning
For wet tumblers cleaning aluminum baffles, what are your preferences between brass or ss media. Also, mixed or same size media. Seems like mixed sizes would get into nooks and crannies better. Thoughts? Thanks.

How about the Bowers silicone covers. I am sure they work ok, but will they cause excessive heating of the silencer by not allowing enough heat dissipation??

Hello all. Please bear with me as I am not very familiar with how this works. I have a Mac90 (Chinese AK) that is semi-auto. I have parts (sear, trigger assy., etc.) from a full auto AK. The Mac90 was made in the early 90s and I have no idea when the AK parts were made. Is there any legal way to con...

Update on threaded barrel for BHP 9mm. BarSto is about to make a run of BHP barrels, both threaded and regular. According to them they only make a run of these once a year and they go fast. $305.00 threaded. If anyone wants one, call them and order soon. Just FYI.
