Re: how long are dealer transfers taking?
http://nfatracker.com/reports.aspx is a good place to look, has some good stats but in truth, it seems to have more to do with who your examiner is.mikes2103 wrote:ordered a can 2-22-10 wondering how long dealer to dealer transfers are taking.

I have been thinking about getting my extra barrel/upper threaded as well, it would be great to see a pic. before I go through with it.

To be honest, I don't come in from that direction all that often but Shady Grove does have parking and would likely be the best place to catch the Metro. You are def. better of parking out of the city and metroing in, parking in the city can be a mess especially if it is for a protest. Residents her...

Re: Travel to Washington DC
Considering a trip into Washington DC to be at the demonstration at noon. My question is, what is my best way to get in to the city? I am coming from the North (North-west actually) of Washington DC and wonder if there is a handy stop where I can park and take a train in to the city? For example, w...

I would go for the .22 first, but in fairness, I just got my first can (a .22) and after shooting it a lot, and I mean a lot, I haven't shot this much in years, I know that I need more. So in fairness, I don't know that it matters that much, I mean I'll have another can within the year. So if its th...

My 10/22 seems to love the Remington Subsonics, cycles the action and everything. Also worth mentioning here is how much it hates the Aguila subs (not the 60 grain). I shot a few of them and I had to clear about 50% of them out of the chamber with a knife. Just didnt agree with the gun at all. Just...

What is the lightest 10/22 stock?
I'm looking at doing some upgrading on my 10/22 with two main areas of focus: -Weight reduction -Size reduction I am thinking of going with the Tac-Sol SBX barrel and the Hogue Overmolded stock but I thought I would throw it out here and see if anyone had any other ideas that would help me bring the...

OR, I could take this, add a buttstock and VFG and then fill the hole where the screw goes to mount the receiver to the stock? I could really bumpfire with this since the trigger and receiver would ride on a different chassis then the pistol grip. Now you got me thinking. http://i443.photobucket.co...

The PPS in 9 is my standard carry piece. Its a great gun, and it really does just disappear IWB. I have had no notable failures of any kind with about 1k through it. As far as holsters go, I picked up an IWB from http://www.kdholsters.com and I love it. I was really torn between the Kahr PM9 and the...

Update to my little Pac-Lite story: I sent my upper to Tac-Sol and they have looked at it and determined that it is in fact beyond repair. This really isn't much of a surprise, when I looked at it before I sent it in, I could tell there wasn't much that could be done for it. Aluminum is such a pain....

I was shooting ground squirrel yesterday with a couple suppressed 10/22s, and the impact of the squirrels was louder than the rifles. I was surprised by how loud it was, too. Sure is a satisfying sound, though, isn't it? When you body shoot them it sounds like a weird hollow popping noise. My buddy...

Damn Casper you beat me by 2 seconds with that reply. LOL, and that was from my phone none the less. :-) JK, sounds like we had just about the same things to say. So have you actually shot a phonebook at pointblank? Does it mute the impact at all? You think it might damage the can ? No, I never hav...
