Innovative Arms Apex S Multi (slow motion)

I updated my last Innovative Arms review to include slow motion during the firing of the wet cans. What this does is isolate the sound so you can differentiate the gunshot from mechanical slide noise and port pop. You can also hear the projectile slap the dirt berm 20 yards away. Enjoy! https://www....

Re: Tell me I made a good purchase.

I just paid the money on a Liberty Mystic X (In silver). Currently I have 2 cans. The oldest one is an AWC Thunder trap in 45-70. Its fairly quiet but there is a lot I would change with it. My other Can is an Element 2, I use it on 22 LR pistols and rifles as well as on a 17HMR rifle. The Mystic X ...

Innovative Arms Apex Micro

Stay tuned because I have a ton of Innovative Arms suppressors to review for you! This is the first video in the series. It's a very impressive can and the price is even better! Love it!

Re: Griffin 3-lug on an Octane...Yes

Still, I am doing it. It sounds good, and I have more confidence in the mount. I think it much less likely to be involved in a baffle strike. I really would like to hear the person who knows the most about the octane weigh in on whether the proximity of the muzzle to the first baffle would be harmf...

Re: Griffin 3-lug on an Octane...Yes

Well, you jumped in with both feet. I like that. I was the same way. As for the distinct similarities of the oct and rev, I have not had a Griffin Armament can in hand yet. The baffles do seem like CTA baffles coated in TiNi, however, most companies baffles share similarities with others. I won't po...

Liberty Suppressors Mystic Upgrade

Well I finally got around to filming these two bad boys. I have been too busy shooting them! lol so please excuse the dirty monocore. The title is self explanatory. This video breaks down the upgrade program that Liberty Suppressors has so kindly offered to owners of the original Mystic. Thanks to t...

Re: Griffin 3-lug on an Octane...Yes

Like I mentioned before, the Octane is primarily sold as a pistol silencers made to be used with a booster, in this design it also looses most of this expansion chamber via piston and spring. While there is some extra volume lost by completely filling this area i would say the loss is insignificant...

No difference with their 45acp ammo yes. But there is a difference with their 9mm.

Re: Video: Hush Subsonic Ammo

How does the 147 hush compare to the standard freedom munitions 147 grn? I would assume better but is it worth the 30 Vs 20 a round price difference? Edit: they should pay you for that level of advertisement of their product. Hahaha I appreciate the compliment. I asked the same thing and they said ...

Sure have and it was good. I have it on video. But they only sold (at that time at least) JHP ammo and not target FMJ. It was too costly.

Re: jesse james new can, 10db quieter than the best?

Yup that's right! JJFU has officially backed out after he was asked to do a demo with his can. Brent Taylor of Liberty Suppressors was truly curious and planned to use a calibrated milspec dB meter (as seen in my videos with them) This agreement went down at SHOT Show when Brent stopped by their boo...

Video: Hush Subsonic Ammo

Well I can say I'm impressed. For $17/box of good high quality gunfood for my suppressed setups I really can't complain. I have tried Winclean, American Eagle, Fiocchi 147 & 158's, Magtech, UMC, Speer, you name it. And the only round that came close to the sound levels was the Fiocchi 158's whic...

Silencerco Harvester Big Bore

Well I must say, it has been quite awhile since I was this impressed with an unsuppressed to suppressed sound signature change in a centerfire rifle cartridge. Not to mention the felt reduced recoil. This 338 Lapua was a joy to shoot without ears and I would love to spend a day in the vast open west...

Re: Silencerco Saker K

Nice video. The standard length 5.56 Saker dehorns an 11.5" 5.56 really well! Very nice to shoot. Is significantly quieter than a KAC QDSS-NT4 can! I suspect the Saker K would be about that same level of loudness. The reduction in weight could be attractive. Have 7.62 Saker ordered with 5.56 e...

lol yeah. The land owner adds dirt every once in awhile. It's gotten bigger over time. He's a redneck so he doesn't care about presentation, hence the weeds lol.

Re: osprey 9mm vs 45

The only thing you'll really notice is that it is an inch shorter, the weight won't be noticeable and while it may be quieter on the meter it'll probably be a little higher pitched so it won't actually sound any quieter. It is still a very good can and you'll be happy with it. This to a T. The Ospr...

Video: Silencerco Harvester

Well I finally got around to editing this video. When Silencerco came down to film we concentrated more on the Saker's so I didn't get much footage. That being said, this can is less complex and didn't need much explaining. It's light, quiet and comfortable to shoot. Not much else to say. Hope you e...
