Re: Zmachineworx belly up?
I could be wrong, but the info I had was that Zmachine made all the "baffles" for DM. Since DM is so backlogged, Zmachine was stopping the retail portion to concentrate on DM's orders. Yes, this has been going on for some time now. DM was producting the Z cones. People could just order th...

Through a few conversations on the form 1 board, it has been determined that this is the same company that screwed a lot of people back in the day with the name of Form1Builders.
I'd pass on anything they have.

30 minutes in my SS wet tumbler/Harbor Freight rock tumbler does a better job than my USC. Hot water, SS pins, dawn, lemi-shine, new rubber band for the motor because I know it'll break as soon as I walk away and in 30 minutes....purty.

Thanks bunch! Those measurements and pics will be a big help.
I had the same issues with the saddle clamps. I just stuck some lock-tite on the bolts to hold them in place. Now that I have a new replacement saddle, I'll work on making it better.

Re: AAC Cyclone K question
I am sure you could pull the trigger multiple times. Now, whether bad things happen is another story.
OP, the AAC Cyclone is made for a .308. Bore is probably .350" to .380". Find out what that 9mm you want to put through it is in diameter.

Yes, I'd like to see a few pictures of the inside. How is it mounted? What I am really looking for is the measurement from the top to the middle of the bore (green lines in pic below) for the bearing that holds the lead screw heading toward the apron/half nuts. Middle of bearing bore to back of gear...

Waiting for a couple more stamps. Threading my barrels in the meantime. Still need another gauge from PTG to show so I can get my .243 barrels done. Between the cost of having them threaded, plus the time to drive there and back to get it done at the nearest gunsmith I trust, this lathe has already...

Sorry, ffishman had me into the .gif mood in this thread...
Thanks, hard_wire.
I have heard back from the seller I purchased my lathe from and I am supposed to be getting some replacement parts. We'll see though.

Re: JohnA - Specs or pictures on your Tuber?
Thanks a ton! Wish there was a like button on here.
There was someone mentioning your build on another forum and didn't know how it was done. I was more or less asking on his behalf, but I am glad I did. That setup is one of a kind for sure.
Thanks again.

@JohnA, do you have any pictures of the internals of your Tuber? Tried searching and couldn't find any.

It might not be the best way to do it, but it allows you to get very good cuts with minimal tools.

I DHC'd them all. Not much to them really. I am supposed to have a MMW cone heading my way so that I can make a DHC guide for it. But, from the looks of them, they look identical to the Totality Industry cones that I have already made guides for. http://form1suppressor.boards.net/thread/3059/3rd-upd...

Would you have the ability to turn down the OD of a VSR to fit?
The DHC performs very well, IMO. Shot a 22-250 through my .30 cal can that has all 7 of the cones DHC'd and I was amazed.

Re: Gentlemen, we got ourselves a new guy. 30 cal Titanium 8 inch
With the MMW cones, you'd only need a blast chamber spacer, but I'd wait till I had it in my hand before making a decision on the length of it. In fact, I wonder how they can sell a kit without it. I'd go the 2 SS 6 Ti cones. I was making a DHC guide tool for someone the other day. The VSR he sent m...
