You can make it shorter just not longer.

Look through the completed Form1 thread. From that thread alone you will be able to
figure it all out.

I believe an option may exist for it to be donated to a museum. I would explore that before it is destroyed.

Re: Interesting .22LR Micro Can build...

Without the wipe it sounds like you made something similar to the
old Gem-Tech LDES or the original micro 22 can from AWC.

Al Paulson's books had some good write ups on these cans and DB readings.

Would like to see close ups of the front end cap and how you machined it for the wipe.

Gem-Tech tried it years ago in one of their 5.56 cans. M4-96D to the best of my recollection.

Re: Interesting .22LR Micro Can build...

Got the endcap done today. Need to trim a baffle, clean up some exterior machining... and finish the baffles. Got a ball end mill tool on order for the mouse holes and will do the dater hole(s) at the same time. Might get to do some initial testing on Sunday. Are you planning on doing a "dater...

Isn't it cool how we're renovating the Washington Monument into a Minaret? Any ETA on when the Muezzin will take up residence? Will it be the House Speaker, Vice-President or a new non-Senate approved Cabinet Minister? I wonder when Martial Law will be declared so that the Nov 2014 National Electio...

Liking the concept but any concern over the ablative that gets introduced in this way obstructing the bullets path?

As far as the wipes impacting accuracy I know Jim DeGroat passed along a few points in a old thread about shooting 22LR through the NANO

Re: Glock 17 without a booster.

Good luck with finding someone to recreate the slide lock. People have been asking for someone to do this for years, people have said they would look into it but nothing ever materialized. I paid a guy to make me the QD mount but after a year of trial and error he gave up the project. He said he was...

Not sure if this is the one you are referencing. It is the only AAC can that I have ever seen as a cutaway that has rounds inside.

Gemtech "Trinity" can

Does the LID for it thread directly into the tube or into an adapter or ring that is already threaded into the tube. We know that in the case of the Multi-mount and the SWR Trident 9 it is the later.
Thanks.
