Re: 18T 762-SD fit on a 762-SD 51T mount?
It does work. all the mounting surfaces are the same. It'll mount squarely, but of course the springs will not lock onto the ratchet teeth, so you'll have to frequently check the can to make sure it's not backing off. FWIW, I shoot my 2006 M4-2000 on 51T mounts all the time. I'm sure some enterpris...

Re: Best suppressor for 300 Win Mag
KAC and LWRC both got the boot in the IAR tests, that doesn't mean they are bad rifles.
The whole FN SCAR and HK 416 tested better than Colt M4 recently, but that doesn't stop the army of guys defending Colt.
"Mil-spec" is so overrated.

Re: What silencer company is the most responsive to customer
IMHO............ Who gives customers what they want? Examples: Take apart cans from the factory vs a customer having to cancel thier warranty if they open it? Who lets you send in your old baffles for new SS / Ti baffles? Who doesn't let you exchange your baffles at all? Cans that can be dipped? Can...

Re: 18T 762-SD fit on a 762-SD 51T mount?
If I were doing this, I'd be tempted to cut a tooth off or notch in the 51 tooth mount to allow the spring to seat properly. Of course, it would screw up the 51 tooth mount for a 51 tooth silencer, but you'd have more mounting options. You state that you like the 51 tooth mount better, but that's o...

Thanks for the timely and handsome answer! I plan to use it on a 7.5 AR upper.....yes gayer than AIDS.....I know!......After Robert retrurned to his scientific ways in his Kitty Kat thread, I felt he seemed to indicate it didn't have any issues , a 762-SD. As I'm sure you are aware, I'm no fan of 18...

He seems to indicate that 51T is better, but it seems to work somewhere between a 18T and a 51T, if that makes sense...............

Re: Here Kitty
Still trying to understand why AAC won't let the 762SD on a 7" Diablo in 762x39, but the other suppressor manufacturers will. AAC has not tested it and so cannot guarantee suitability for that use. Do a QuickLoad pressure simulation and tell me what length 308 barrel is equal to a 7 inch 7.62x...

Richard, couple of questions. (1) what is tube wall thickness? (2) you said db numbers are not back yet, who is testing? If its John it could take a 2012 new years resolution to get back to you.
