Re: Monocore 9mm

Sorry fairlane, I dont have a cell phone. Since I make my living doing this in blocks often exceeding 12hrs, sometimes 7 days a week instead of sitting in my mom and dads basement combing internet message boards acting and posting as if I posess all the knowledge in the world, I don't have time to ...

So, What are you now: A “soup or salad” guy or a “full tank, please” guy ?

Now that you have the time, don’t waste it @ internet: Go to school !

Re: "Threadless Tube" Suppressor using Baffles ...

Hi,

Alemonkey, Wolf, Ghostdog662, ... and some other Kids:

Have you ever Designed, Build and Tested a “Tubeless Suppressor” ?

How can you talk about Suppressors you have never tested nor seen nor built ?

You Kids need more School time and less Internet time.

There is also an special version for shooting Steroid addicts.    ...

Re: "Threadless Tube" Suppressor using Baffles ...

The attempt previously referenced is most likely mine. I one made a tubeless .22LR suppressor 2 years ago. And I can agree with Bender that it wasted too much volume (ended up being 1.25" OD with barely 1"ID), while at the same time being very heavy (8oz. Aluminium). But my can had a spec...

Re: "Threadless Tube" Suppressor using Baffles ...

Hi, This bundle, standalone, doesn’t probably make sense. It’s just too much (not long, not heavy since it’s a mix of Ti, SS and Alu). I have to test the Baffles as close as possible to the final configuration so, I need a Ti Tube and I do not have to pay for it so, welcome !. I know it’s easier to ...

Re: "Threadless Tube" Suppressor using Baffles ...

Hi, Titanium tube is a requirement. What I have shown in the Pic is the standalone version to be built for testing the Baffles. The final goal is to build an Integral Barrel, initially for 10/22. For that, they just want one point of trust - in the Barrel by means of muzzle threads – and 2 additiona...

Re: See full dimensions for 22 K baffle

Hi, It’s not he radius what matters: its cut depth, the closer you get to the bore walls the more issues you can have, no matter what the radius is. And this is only looking at radius. There are 11+6 different variables that can impact on K’s integrity/performance/easy to build/... All of them are ...

Re: See full dimensions for 22 K baffle

make the "neck" as small as you can or non-existent at all like the evo baffle. there are ways to keep the "meat" there (as show in the other build. Hi, Sure you can have extra “meet” when dealing with no neck Baffles: 1) Make the base thicker and keep working with a concave cir...

Re: See full dimensions for 22 K baffle

Hi,

Sorry for the quality on tooling: I’m working now on a bigger part and just included some MiniLathe tools (LittleMachineShop.Com) to the setup.

This is for Pic number 4, not the original one.

Have fun.

Re: See full dimensions for 22 K baffle

Hi, Just curious to see how the Enfield’s K looks like I did enter into Inventor (K-Creator is my friend … ). For sure it’s a good Baffle and if He is happy with it, twice good ! I can see 3 different areas to work with: 1) Internal Walling: Hidden walls are the result of “new geometries” born...

Re: See full dimensions for 22 K baffle

More common US K-baffles perform alot better than this design. These are decent performers but don't even touch the realm of what the K is capable of. This design is used by a couple manufacturers in the US with a few little mods to it. Good design for a Form1 guy without much machining experience....
