Re: A 2nd 308 suppressor - advice requested
300TM is the can I chose for max suppression on a direct thread 308 bolt rifle application. I really like it. My Specwar is also very quiet, but it resides on my AR10, which isn't a particularly quiet platform.

Re: Video: Hush Subsonic Ammo
Have you tried the American Eagle Suppressor stuff? I got some of the .22LR version and I was impressed at how clean shooting it is. I picked up some of the 9mm 124 grain load to try but I'm waiting on a stamp and barrel trimming.
BTW, nice video!

Re: A pre-treating method to reduce .22 suppressor baffle cleaning time seems to have been found.
I've never had a single problem using EZ Slide on any aluminum. You wouldn't use it in an AR for the obvious reason that it just isn't the right lube for the application - unless you are talking about in the buffer tube, for which that is the perfect application. Graphite itself is just carbon, the ...

Re: Octane or Osprey looking at buying a pistol suppressor and I cant decide between them
I have an Osprey now and an Octane in process. I plan to continue use of the Osprey on my pistols, because I don't want to put tall sights on them all. I have a Form 1 SBR for my 9mm JR Carbine that I am going to cut down to 5" and will use the Octane with the far superior fixed mount. They are...

I haven't tried it on my Spectre II yet, but I use EZ Slide graphite based paint on my comps and they don't even get the crud buildup. Its about $5 for a pretty big can available from Implement dealers and farm stores.

Re: AR-15 Subsonic Loads
You are way better off getting a 22LR upper for your AR. Even the cheapest possible load for a subsonic .223 is still more expensive than .22LR ammo.

Re: Anyone know about the Mossberg 715T with a threaded barrel .22
I'm pretty confident that the 715T along with all Mossberg firearms are made in Texas. I don't know anything about the rifle but it does seem really cheap. Their website says it is an A2 flash hider so I would tend to think it is a 1/2x28 thread.

I heard a can on an AR15 one time that had a really high pitched zing/whistle to it. I have no idea the make of it though.

Re: Backpressure Problem in a Semi-Auto Rifle?
On my SR762 with the Specwar I don't get any gunk on the bolt, just the cases from carbon that gets blown back through the chamber. I haven't had any reliability issues either. What ammunition are you using? Have you tried different ammunition? When you changed the stock, did you change the spring a...

Re: 1st suppressor - pre-purchase questions - need advice
The Harvester seems like it fits your needs pretty well. They make different thread pattern inserts for it so you can have your rifles threaded appropriately. Typically smaller bore rifles don't have enough meat to thread 5/8x24.

If you're going to order the spring, get the bushings too. Let me know how they work out. I've still got a few months to wait for my AC.

Re: supressing a mini-thirty?
The AC is an AC556, a select fire Mini. The parts aren't designed to work together. You can use the adjustable gas block, or the reduced bushing and the extra power op rod spring. Since the Mini is a piston design, your primary goal is to reduce bolt speed because the system will bleed off any exces...

Re: supressing a mini-thirty?
It shouldn't be any trouble with a few cheap parts. ASI makes adjustable gas blocks, reduced gas bushings and extra power springs. I have their adjustable gas block on my Mini 14 and it works really well. When my AC gets out of purgatory I'll be putting in the reduced gas bushing and extra power spr...

Both of mine had some light chatter marks from the cutter, but they easily polished out with some JB bore paste.
If your barrel is really as bad as the one in that thread then you should send it back.

Re: Osprey Fixed adapter installation
The fixed spacer for the Osprey is just a cage that replaces the spring in the booster. It sounds like you have the fixed mount for the Octane, which won't work on the Osprey.

Re: 1st CAN .....
You can do mag dumps with the harvester, just not multiple in a row. Mine cools down in less than 2 minutes after a mag dump. But I stand by the Specwar as the King of 762, for now I was just going by SilencerCo's recommendation of 10 shots per minute maximum. I agree the Specwar is a really awesom...

Re: 1st CAN .....
I have the 300TM and it is pretty much perfect for your requirements, otherwise the Harvester is right up there as long as you aren't into mag dumps. The Harvester has more mounting options and is quite a bit less expensive. The 300TM on my 16" 308 bolt rifle is incredibly quiet and accuracy im...

Both have very low POI shift. You can't go wrong with either one. The Saker has significantly better mounting options.

The tax stamp is tied to the serial number, no returning it without another F4 to your dealer.
You should check with Surefire to see if they will help you out, I bet they will.
