Are you saying you or he HAS looked inside Pat's G5 with a borescope, and in fact saw visible gaps in between the spacers were weld should be? I am asking him to look through the bore-scope. I've done an external inspection of it and peered into the baffle stack, but the borescope was low on batt l...

Dunno. The Tac is not welded and it might just unscrew. You could pay AAC to weld your Tac-16 and then it should. Worst advice I've ever read you giving. Surely you jest.... My money is on the Tac16 passing the abuse test. And for the price the Tac16 is one of the best values going. Thanks for the ...

I wonder how my TAC-16 would do, be a damned shame if it survived better than the G5!!! Well, I wasn't going to get involved with this thread, but . . . . A couple years ago, we did a TAC-16 group-buy for the Oregon Folk on AR15.com. I purchased a single TAC-16 for a sample, and took it o...

Matt, you worked for Egor Sikorsky?

I worked on HH3-e's in the Philippines back in the late '70's.

The SRT is great! Reloading is the best way and it is worth it IMO. I will have my 77/44 at the silencer shoot this weekend. Is the SRT Bison one-stamp or two? Did you get the fast twist barrel? I believe all the SRT cans and intrigues are sealed. I know the .45 ACP AR upper and his 77/44 that has ...

Both are excellent, the SRT is heavier and sealed, the Aluminum Tubed one pictured above made in Bend Oregon.

I have shot both with HOT .44 MAG and 44 special loads.
Words can not describe it! Just so cool.

Yes all the ones I have seen are 2-stamp guns.
I pretty much gave up on mine, and just SBR'ed it and threaded it 5/8x24 for a can.
The Ruger 77-44 integrally suppressed has more punch, and some are made as a 1 stamp guns.

I would like to see a photo of one of the others on a 14.5 inch barrel.
If someone wants to bring me some 855 tonight, I will test them all. Again, the 14 1/2" was just an after thought.

I'm sorry, but this thread has given a Black Eye to all involved.

Damn, still a hell of a lot more flash than the thread-on,
but much less than then one we tested from AAC.

DVD'S are available in the Lobby.

Actually, if anyone is interested in the original un-re-sized pictures,
send me a "BLACK, XL, Gun T-Shirt", and I will send you a copy.

Yes it (SRT Threaded) did on the 14.5". The each of the SRT QD cans had more than either the SRT threaded and AAC QD. There were three SRT QD cans tested. Each of the three had slightly different amounts of flash. Each of the three had proportionately the same amount of flash going from 10.5&q...

Pat, Are you burying the 14.5 inch ATLAS photo or are you gonna post it? Is it gonna end up in that warehouse at the end of the Indiana Jones movie? Excuse me? Video's of the Blackout FH and AAC & SRT cans on the 14" upper are uploaded. Robert, you may want to host these, Starband is slow. So, the SRT QD on the 14" barrel is still considerably more flash than the thread mount, no surprise there. I will re-test the SRT-Thread Mount with the S...
