Approved on Sep 27th... can manuf hasn't received stamp

So, according to the NFA branch, I've been approved since September 27th.
According to my in-state silencer manufacturer, my form 4 hasn't yet arrived.

Next steps?
I'm considering calling the BATF and see if they will send out an official copy.

Thoughts?

Ah, I remember the year 2314 when we bravely crossed the acetone ocean and stormed the diamond strewn beaches on M83's 3rd planet to fight the slime horde. Yep. No way a Glock would have held up there.

I'm sure they overpaid for those "systems" which are really just cast zinc clamshelled Tippmann paintball markers.

Re: ATF NFA - Wait Time Is Now 15-Months (As of 2013-10-25)

Most states have a limit on the turn around time for CCW licenses/permits, with 30-60 days being the norm. I know this is probably apples to oranges, but I'd like to see the same happen with our NFA forms, at minimum... As soon as any state processes 1% of the applications that the NFA deals with I...

Re: Government shutdown affects on NFA processing??

Bad news fellas......I called the NFA Branch today to check my status. They recieved my paperwork in Feb. I had gone to 2nd pending in August, with an expectation of approval in 90 days. They have now scrapped that system entirely, and are telling callers that it will be a 15 month wait from when t...

I'm not sure how they could honestly reconcile this with Miller and Heller.

Therefore, they will do it dishonestly.

Warning: Do not look into laser with remaining eye.

Seriously though. I have questions:

Was it pretty easy to setup and get running?

I feel like your post has more merit than TTAG since it is a comment about the pistol as opposed to nit-picking about the need to remove sticker-tack from a plastic case.

Re: NFA Trust & tax Stamp readily available??

I keep mine handy at my range because it's not law, but it's part of a relationship between the range and the shooters. If they request that I bring them a snack when I shoot, then it's still worth the privilege to shoot on their property. With that said, if an RO asked for my forms (and one has ask...

Re: What exactly do the NFA Examiners check and how?

Right. They cannot change the law without an act of congress. But they can and do change the dictionary when it suits them.

e.g.: Shoestring to Machinegun
e.g.: Silencer parts to Silencer

Unfortunately for us, ATF's definitions never change in the least restrictive direction.
